Shadow Education Secretary Laura Trott wrote to BBC director-general Matt Brittin demanding the removal or suspension of any material that failed the corporation\u2019s own impartiality standards.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The BBC has no business pushing a left-wing agenda on our children. Games urging pupils to campaign for Amnesty International, which branded gender-critical women\u2019s rights organisations \u201canti-rights\u201d, or promoting open borders are completely unacceptable. It opened with the claim that Britain does not have enough working-age people to keep society running and should attract migrant workers.<\/p>\n<p>Pupils who chose open borders gained three economy points and two public-health points. Those who granted amnesty to \u201ca few\u201d people living without visas received two points in each category and were told \u201cthis will make them very happy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Choosing deportation cost points and triggered the warning that it \u201ccan be potentially dangerous for them. Don\u2019t expect this to be unchallenged!\u201d Rejecting open borders as \u201ctoo radical\u201d scored nothing.<\/p>\n<p>Trott said the BBC had \u201ccrossed a line\u201d by using learning tools \u201cas a vehicle to push a Left-wing political agenda onto young children.\u201d She added that \u201cadvocating open borders encourages illegal small boat crossings\u201d and that such \u201ctoxic resources dressed up as education\u201d should be \u201cnowhere near the classroom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In her letter she wrote that materials which \u201cappear to reward children for adopting political positions on contested issues\u201d cannot be reconciled with the BBC\u2019s impartiality obligation, and that the game \u201callows children to think it is acceptable for vile illegal boat crossings to take place.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other Bitesize material claimed migrants contribute more in tax than they use in services and pump a \u201cstaggering amount of money\u201d into the economy.<\/p>\n<p>Concerns about pressure on jobs were dismissed as likely to stem from prejudice. Pupils were encouraged to join leftist causes such as Amnesty International and campaign for Net Zero, described as an \u201cimportant goal,\u201d with suggestions they petition local government and consider flying less or eating less meat.<\/p>\n<p>This is the same pattern we\u2019ve documented for months. The corporation has insisted points were also available for training local people or closing borders, but that defence has not stopped the material being pulled.<\/p>\n<p>This is not an isolated classroom resource. It is the educational arm of a broader effort that has already reshaped children\u2019s television and school materials.
