It is the head of this poisonous octopus. You cut it off, and it will fall. We will also have peace with Lebanon,\u201d he said. \u201cWe must complete the elimination of the Iranian regime \u2014 that is the primary objective. I have spoken about this with President Trump more than once, including the day before yesterday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A day earlier, Netanyahu <a href=\"https:\/\/news.antiwar.com\/2026\/10\/19\/trump-to-netanyahu-youre-the-man-i-want-by-my-side\/\">released part of a phone call<\/a> he had with President Trump on Sunday, where he thanked the US leader for endorsing him in the upcoming Israeli elections. In Trump\u2019s endorsement message, he suggested that the US may have to \u201cfinish the job\u201d against Iran without the help of Israel if Netanyahu doesn\u2019t remain prime minister.<\/p>\n<p>In his conversation with Trump, Netanyahu said that the US and Israel have a \u201cjob to finish,\u201d and his comments on Tuesday suggest that means regime change.<\/p>\n<p>US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth <a href=\"https:\/\/news.antiwar.com\/2026\/10\/19\/hegseth-meets-netanyahu-during-unannounced-visit-to-israel-axios\/\">made an unannounced visit to Israel on Monday<\/a> and met with Netanyahu.
