{"id":332065,"date":"2026-10-15T06:05:44","date_gmt":"2026-10-15T06:05:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=332065"},"modified":"2026-10-15T07:43:46","modified_gmt":"2026-10-15T07:43:46","slug":"irgc-warns-of-far-more-painful-response-says-iran-has-more-advanced-weapons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=332065","title":{"rendered":"IRGC warns of \u2018far more painful\u2019 response, says Iran has \u2018more advanced weapons\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Press TV \u2013 Oct 14, 2026<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><strong>A spokesman for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says Iran has strengthened its arsenal with more advanced weapons since the 40-day US-Israeli war on the country, warning that any renewed aggression would be met with a response carrying \u201cfar more painful\u201d consequences for its enemies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Brigadier General Hossein Mohebi said on Wednesday that Iran had relied mainly on older-generation weapons as it responded to the US-\u00a0Israeli aggression on the Islamic Republic that began in late February, but has\u00a0made significant advances since then.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIran is prepared to respond to any renewed aggression with greater force than ever before, and this time, the consequences for the United States will be far more painful,\u201d Mohebi said.<\/p>\n<p>The general described a new US war against the Islamic Republic as \u201cirrational,\u201d but warned that renewed aggression\u00a0remained \u201ca very real possibility\u201d because the Trump administration needed to demonstrate a political \u201cwin\u201d ahead of the midterm elections.<\/p>\n<p>With the midterm elections that will determine control of Congress just weeks away, opposition to Republican President Donald Trump\u2019s war on Iran and his handling of it continues to grow among the American public.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The American public is kept from knowing\u00a0the reality of their country&#8217;s foreign wars, because mainstream media actively conceal the reality of such ruthless aggressions,&#8221;\u00a0 General Mohebi said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The statements by American officials about disagreement and lack of cooperation among Iranian leaders are completely false and are made only to justify Washington&#8217;s failure\u00a0in the war,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>Trump has denied plans to launch a renewed attack on Iran before the midterm elections.
