Iran is stronger,\u201d Murphy told NBC, saying he would support even a \u201cbad deal\u201d to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n<p>He said the cost of reopening the strategic waterway was rising as negotiations remained stalled.<\/p>\n<p>Iranian officials have demanded reparations, the lifting of sanctions and a halt to US military operations, according to The Washington Times.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe war needs to end because every day that the war continues, America gets weaker, Iran gets stronger, and people here in the United States get screwed as prices go up and up and up,\u201d Murphy said.<\/p>\n<p>Murphy said he would oppose funding to continue the war but would support replenishing US munitions after the conflict ends.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aa.com.tr\/en\/americas\/us-senator-says-trump-has-lost-iran-war\/4022698\">Source\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Finally, U.S. politicians acknowledge what has really happened.
