Israeli strike on the city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon<\/p>\n
Israel\u2019s Channel 14 has called on the occupying regime to maintain its attacks on Lebanon in order to sabotage the peace agreement between Iran and the United States.<\/strong><\/p>\n The channel claimed that Israel must continue its strikes on Lebanon to derail the recent Iran-US memorandum of understanding.<\/p>\n It came as Iran\u2019s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters issued a warning to the Israeli military, stating that if the \u201cchild-killing\u201d army does not cease its \u201cmalicious activities\u201d in southern Lebanon, it should expect a \u201charsh response\u201d from the Islamic Republic\u2019s Armed Forces.<\/p>\n Israel has reportedly informed the US that it does not consider itself bound by the agreement, which includes an immediate and permanent end to military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon.<\/p>\n \u201cThe agreement with Iran was made by Trump, and this is his decision; we have our own interests,\u201d Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement on Monday, vowing that Israeli troops would not withdraw from Lebanon and that the fight against Iran was \u201cnot over.\u201d<\/p>\n Since the MoU was announced two days ago, the Israeli regime has violated the ceasefire in southern Lebanon 84 times, continuing its \u201ccrimes and massacres\u201d against the Lebanese people, according to Iranian military sources.<\/p>\n At least four Israeli drone strikes targeted the southern Lebanese town of Mayfadoun on Tuesday afternoon, following heavy artillery bombardments in other areas.<\/p>\n Hezbollah\u2019s Media Relations Department stated on Tuesday that Iran has\u00a0assured the resistance movement there will\u00a0be \u201cno nuclear deal between Iran and the US\u201d unless Israel withdraws its occupation forces from Lebanon.<\/p>\n A full Israeli pullout, the statement said, would be the \u201cresult of\u201d and \u201cnot a precondition\u201d for the continuation of Iran-US talks following the signing of a Pakistani-mediated memorandum of understanding.<\/p>\n Speaking during a meeting with ambassadors and heads of foreign missions in Tehran on Tuesday, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the Iranian and Lebanese fronts are \u201cinterconnected.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cFrom our perspective, there are two sides in this MoU.
