In the email, Maxwell reportedly reveals that she plans to throw a \u201cbig name\u201d under the bus in return for her own freedom.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is the woman who knows too much,\u201d Brown writes<\/a>, arguing that Maxwell possesses critical details about Epstein\u2019s network and those who allegedly participated in or enabled his crimes.<\/p>\n

According to Brown, that leverage could ultimately put Maxwell in a position to negotiate a pardon or sentence reduction.<\/p>\n

The turning point came from a prison email Maxwell sent to her sister in October 2025.<\/p>\n

In the message, Maxwell referenced Wall Street billionaire Leon Black and instructed: \u201cSend Leon\u2019s emails etc stuff to Leah.\u201d<\/p>\n

Maxwell was referring to her attorney, Leah Saffian.<\/p>\n

She then added:<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course it is in the papers from Congress too.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne day the spigot will dry up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brown interpreted the message as a signal that Maxwell may be preparing to release information, or positioning herself as a key witness once congressional evidence runs out.<\/p>\n

Growing Talk of a Deal<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The possibility of a pardon in exchange for testimony is already dividing lawmakers.<\/p>\n

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) confirmed that Republicans are split on the idea.<\/p>\n

Comer acknowledged that \u201ca lot of people\u201d support the concept of granting clemency if Maxwell fully cooperates.<\/p>\n

Democrats have likewise blasted the proposal<\/a>, with Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) calling it \u201coutrageous\u201d and labeling Maxwell a central figure in Epstein\u2019s crimes.<\/p>\n
