I just learned that my old friend Clarence “Tony” Horace Blizzard, age 92, of Altus, Arkansas died on October 7, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have a couple of readers, old-timers, who belong to\u00a0a dying breed\u00a0of patriots who uphold Christian values, freedom, and the American dream.\u00a0 Tony Blizzard, left,\u00a0has been making cogent comments on this site for 20 years (“Tony B”).\u00a0 He was a collaborator with\u00a0<\/strong>“Mady” de Shishmareff (1882-1970) who produced the best introduction to\u00a0The Protocols of Zion<\/em> under the title Waters Flowing Eastward <\/em>(1953.)<\/a>\u00a0 Here he describes working\u00a0in the late 1990s\u00a0for Willis Carto’s Spotlight, <\/em>the forerunner of the American Free Press.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Below these recollections is an article he wrote on hate speech in the 1990s\u00a0for Spotlight. <\/em>His colleague\u00a0Michael Collins Piper<\/a>, (1960-2015) one of the greatest patriot journalists, said it was the only Spotlight article by another author that he saved. I’ve retitled it,\u00a0“Hate Speech Stems from Hatred of Evil.”\u00a0 <\/em>Patriot movement pioneer,\u00a0Tony Blizzard is an authentic American.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don’t remember exactly my time at the Spotlight and AFP.<\/strong>\u00a0 About five years in all.\u00a0 Latter 1990s – quit right after 9\/11.\u00a0 At Liberty Lobby<\/em> I had several titles.\u00a0 Started as the librarian making some sanity out of the confusion of years of collections of articles, books, publications on all sorts of subjects exposed by The Spotlight<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Wrote articles from the beginning.\u00a0 My central Spotlight<\/em> pullout on homeschooling was the second most published pullout in the history of the paper.\u00a0 I was asked to write it because I had homeschooled my kids <\/a>when it was a felony and the state stole your children if caught.\u00a0 Even then I had to fight Willis who wanted a sit-down copy of government schooling.\u00a0 Had to sneak into it that the beauty of homeschooling was letting a child take off on an interest, just giving guidance.\u00a0 With today’s computers, homeschooled kids can learn more in months than four-year college grads will ever learn.\u00a0 They are also in demand by corporations and even colleges.<\/p>\n
