Notice that VP Vance said Iran has rejected the US terms, not that the US has rejected Iran\u2019s terms.\u00a0 So much for Trump\u2019s statement that he accepted Iran\u2019s 10 points as a basis for negotiation.\u00a0 Trump merely seized on Iran\u2019s 10 points as an off-ramp from his threat to destroy Iranian civilization, which he cannot do unless he uses nukes.<\/p>\n

Israel has declared that \u201cTurkey is the next Iran.\u201d\u00a0 Currently Israel is bombing Lebanese civilians.\u00a0 After Turkey Saudi Arabia will be next.<\/p>\n

It is amazing that Iran gave Trump a ceasefire and time to load up.\u00a0 Iran\u2019s failure to push forward with its military success will mean more Iranian deaths and destruction.<\/p>\n

\u201cIsrael is moving towards a general election in October and the ruling coalition led by Benjamin Netanyahu will be looking for any excuse it can find to upend the Gaza peace process.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike the Iran ceasefire, it is seen as something imposed on Israel by the US and many Israelis \u2013 such as the religious Zionists \u2013 see annexation as a better option.<\/p>\n
