A 2020 FBI\u00a0document included\u00a0in the Epstein files<\/a>\u00a0alleges\u00a0that billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein was\u00a0\u201ctrained as a spy<\/a>\u201d\u00a0under former Israeli<\/a>\u00a0Prime Minister Ehud Barak.<\/p>\n The document, marked by the American<\/a> agency as a confidential human source (CHS) report,\u00a0contains\u00a0intelligence\u00a0about \u201cimproper domestic or foreign influence over the electoral process in the US\u201d, but\u00a0the source\u00a0\u201cexpanded on several matters\u201d.<\/p>\n Jeffrey Epstein and Alan Dershowitz. Click to enlarge<\/p><\/div>\n According to the document, the source \u201cshared phone calls between\u00a0[Harvard law professor Alan]\u00a0Dershowitz and Epstein during which he\/she took notes\u201d.<\/p>\n The details of the phone call would then be relayed to the Mossad foreign intelligence agency.<\/p>\n The informant, who delivered the intelligence on 16 October 2020, alleged that Barak regarded Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a \u201ccriminal\u201d and heard a lot of conversations about Epstein before they \u201cbecame convinced that Epstein was a co-opted Mossad Agent\u201d.<\/p>\n The source also recalled Dershowitz telling another US attorney that \u201cEpstein belonged to both US and allied intelligence services\u201d.<\/p>\n The unnamed source, who appears only once in the Epstein files under a designated source ID, also reported other claims, including that Dershowitz himself had been co-opted by Mossad.<\/p>\n Dershowitz, a highly divisive figure and long-time friend and advisor of Netanyahu, has been involved in the defence of several high-profile US cases, including those of Epstein, Harvey Weinstein and Donald Trump.<\/p>\n The source added that they believed\u00a0venture capital firm \u201cDay One Ventures was in Silicon Valley to steal technology\u201d.<\/p>\n Day One\u00a0was\u00a0founded by a former Epstein publicist, Masha Bucher<\/a>,\u00a0who the source said was\u00a0\u201cVladimir Putin’s main contact in the Russian Youth movement\u201d.<\/p>\n The source goes on to suggest a long-running relationship between the\u00a0family of Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and sometime aide,\u00a0and Israel.<\/p>\n The source\u00a0also mentions Jared\u2019s father, Charles Kushner, and\u00a0\u201cthe deep ties the Kushner family has with Israel and their history of corrupt business practices\u201d. The source does not elaborate on the alleged corrupt business practices.<\/p>\n Ehud Barak (his face partially hidden) photographed entering Jeffrey Epstein’s New York mansion.<\/p><\/div>\n Other recently released files reveal that Epstein and Barak, who also served as defence\u00a0minister between 2007 and 2013, had a long-running relationship.<\/p>\n Documents\u00a0have shown that Epstein\u00a0advised\u00a0Barak on tech firm Palantir<\/a>, asked the former Israeli leader to give\u00a0former British minister Lord Peter Mandelson a job<\/a> at an energy\u00a0company\u00a0and discussed the \u201cmassive\u201d consultancy fees to be paid to former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.<\/p>\n On Friday, Netanyahu posted on X: \u201cJeffrey Epstein’s unusual close relationship with Ehud Barak\u00a0doesn’t\u00a0suggest Epstein worked for Israel.
