{"id":322239,"date":"2026-01-27T07:00:22","date_gmt":"2026-01-27T07:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=322239"},"modified":"2026-01-28T09:02:43","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T09:02:43","slug":"nato-developing-ai-powered-hot-zone-along-russia-border-official","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=322239","title":{"rendered":"NATO developing AI-powered \u2018hot zone\u2019 along Russia border \u2013 official"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>RT.com \u2013 Jan 26, 2026<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>NATO is developing plans to establish an extensive automated <em>\u201cdeterrence line\u201d<\/em> along its entire eastern border, packed with AI-coordinated weapons systems designed to target <em>\u201cenemy forces,\u201d<\/em> a senior bloc general has announced.<\/p>\n<p>The automated <em>\u201chot zone\u201d<\/em> would stretch several thousand kilometers from the Arctic to the Black Sea along the borders of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova, NATO Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, General Thomas Lowin, explained in an interview with German newspaper Welt am Sonntag.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the so-called <em>\u201cEastern Flank Deterrence Line\u201d<\/em> would be filled with sensors and <em>\u201ceffectors\u201d<\/em> and have an AI system linking armed drones, sensor-equipped quadrupedal robots, semi-autonomous combat vehicles, unmanned robotic ground systems, and automated air and missile defenses, designed to <em>\u201cbreak the enemy\u2019s advance.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The plan, slated to be operational by the end of 2027, comes amid repeated statements from European NATO members expressing concern about a potential Russian attack.
