In the wake of recent anti-government riots in Iran there have been widespread rallies in support of Ayatollah Khamenei across the nation. Although we have no doubt that they were officially organised to show popular support for Khamenei, there a couple of points to note.<\/p>\n

Firstly, in contrast to the earlier protests these rallies have been given almost no coverage in the Western mainstream media.<\/p>\n

Moreover according to antiwar.com<\/a>:<\/p>\n

The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), a US-based and US-funded NGO, has also reported 133 military and law enforcement deaths, among a total of 646 people it claims to have been killed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Those are heavy casualties among Iranian police and law enforcement agencies during the initial protests. This suggests that the anti-government protesters were armed and organised BEFORE the violence really took hold, which in turn implies that the events were orchestrated .<\/p>\n

Indeed, we strongly suspect that agents in the pay of the U.S. and\/or Mossad commandeered protests over the economy by market traders, who have traditionally been staunch supporters of the Ayatollah<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The western-sponsored agitators then used the chaos that ensued to fan the flames of other protests that were fuelled by economic hardships, which have come largely due to Western sanctions.<\/p>\n

So on the one hand we have the US imposing harsh sanctions, which are being felt by Iranians across the economy. While on the other hand, you have Western agents at work trying to foment unrest and undermine the Ayatollah.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen if this will ultimately lead to the ousting of Khamenei but we\u2019ve seen a very similar chain of events in Syria, Iraq and Libya.\u00a0Although none was a theocracy, in each case none of these countries was helped or improved by western intervention. ‘Historic day’: Leader hails mass nationwide rallies as a blow to enemy plots<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has praised nationwide rallies in support of the Islamic Republic, saying the mass turnout \u201cmade history\u201d and foiled the enemies’\u00a0plot to destabilize the country through their domestic agents.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks on Monday in a message to the Iranian public, following nationwide rallies in which participants\u00a0condemned foreign\u2011linked riots and reaffirmed support for the Islamic Republic.<\/p>\n

\u201cNoble Iranian nation, today you accomplished a great task and marked a historic day. These massive gatherings, filled with firm resolve, foiled the plot of foreign enemies that was to be carried out by domestic mercenaries,\u201d the message said.<\/p>\n

The Leader added that the rallies\u00a0showed the nation\u2019s \u201cdetermination and identity\u201d to the enemies and served as a warning to US officials \u201cto end their deceit and stop relying on treacherous mercenaries.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ayatollah Khamenei described the Iranian people as \u201cstrong, powerful, and aware,\u201d saying they remain present and vigilant in times of crisis.<\/p>\n

Iranians from different\u00a0walks of life took part in nationwide rallies on Monday to denounce recent foreign-backed riots, demonstrating their unwavering support for the Islamic Republic.<\/p>\n

The rallies in most provinces, including Tehran, began at 2:00 p.m. local time and continued till 5:00 pm local time. However, in some other provinces, the rallies started earlier, at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.<\/p>\n

Officials described the nationwide demonstrations as irrefutable\u00a0evidence\u00a0of unity and solidarity in the face of the enemy’s plots to sow chaos and division through mercenaries and terrorists.<\/p>\n

Some shopkeepers last month staged peaceful protests in different cities over economic issues, but the demonstrations were steered toward violence after public statements by US and Israeli regime figures\u2014amplified by Israeli-linked Persian-language outlets\u2014encouraged vandalism and disorder.<\/p>\n

Authorities have acknowledged the legitimacy of economic grievances and vowed to address them, while denouncing\u00a0foreign-backed elements for exploiting people’s livelihood concerns,\u00a0which are directly linked to unilateral US sanctions targeting Iran\u2019s central bank and oil exports.<\/p>\n

Security and judicial bodies say they have dismantled several armed cells and arrested foreign\u2011linked operatives during the unrest, including agents of the Israeli spy agency Mossad.<\/p>\n

Ayatollah Khamenei said on Friday that the Islamic Republic \u201cwill not back down against vandals\u201d and will not tolerate those\u00a0acting as agents of foreign powers.<\/p>\n

President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a TV interview on Sunday, also said\u00a0the nation should not allow rioters to foment insecurity in the country, stressing that protesting\u00a0is different\u00a0from rioting.<\/p>\n
