The U.S. has become adept at orchestrating violent regime changes in foreign lands. In the past few decades we\u2019ve witnessed so-called colour revolutions in Ukraine (the Orange Revolution), Georgia (the Rose Revolution) and elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Often, the upheaval has been to the detriment of the nation involved, although it has almost always furthered U.S. foreign policy designs or benefited the interests of oligarch\u2019s like George Soros.<\/p>\n

The ongoing upheavals in Iran may be the latest example of the underhand workings of U.S. foreign policy. Tehran had successfully defied both the U.S. and Israel during the 12-Day War and given its support for various anti-Israeli resistance groups, the Zionist regime obviously wanted the Ayatollah removed.<\/p>\n

Although the corporate media avoids mentioning U.S.\/Israeli involvement, this is what we are currently seeing unfold in Iran right now.<\/p>\n

Whether it will result in regime change remains to be seen, but the fact that the Ayatollah Khamenei has addressed the nation on the topic suggests that Iranian theocracy may be feeling the strain. Ed.<\/p>\n

Leader: Iran will not back down against vandals seeking to please Washington<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The Islamic Revolution Leader says Tehran will stand firm against vandalism and foreign-backed unrest, noting that Iran \u201cwill not back down\u201d in the face of those acting to curry favor with the US president.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei made the statement on Friday amid days of foreign-backed riots in some Iranian cities.<\/p>\n

Pointing to the damage incurred to the public property last night by a \u201cbunch of vandals\u201d, Ayatollah Khamenei said that they have done that \u201cto make the American president happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The vandals were encouraged by \u201cbaseless\u201d remarks from Washington promising support if Iran acted in a certain way, noted the Leader.<\/p>\n

Referring directly to US President Donald Trump, Ayatollah Khamenei dismissed his repeated claims of standing with the Iranian people. \u201cIf he can, he should run his own country,\u201d the Leader said, pointing to unrest and crises inside the United States.<\/p>\n

Ayatollah Khamenei also pointed to the direct responsibility of Trump for killing hundreds of Iranians during the 12-day US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran in June 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe himself said, \u2018I gave the order,\u2019\u201d the Leader noted, adding that the admission amounted to a confession that the US president\u2019s \u201chands are stained with the blood of Iranians.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said this made Washington\u2019s claims of supporting the Iranian nation \u201cmeaningless.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also criticized the naivety of those who follow foreign cues. \u201cSome inexperienced and thoughtless people believe him and act according to his wishes,\u201d Ayatollah Khamenei said, citing acts such as setting fire to trash bins \u201cso that he would be pleased.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stressing the state\u2019s red lines, the Leader said the Islamic Republic, which he noted was established through the sacrifice of \u201chundreds of thousands of honorable people,\u201d would not tolerate destruction or foreign servitude.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Islamic Republic will not back down against vandals. It will not tolerate mercenaries of foreigners,\u201d he said, adding that anyone who works for foreign powers is \u201crejected\u201d both by the nation and the Islamic system.<\/p>\n

Ayatollah Khamenei likened the US president to past\u00a0tyrants, saying figures such as Pharaoh, Nimrod and Iran\u2019s former dictators were toppled \u201cat the height of their arrogance.\u201d \u201cThis one will be toppled as well,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The remarks came as Iranian officials reiterated that while peaceful protests over economic grievances are legitimate and will be addressed, violence and sabotage will not be tolerated.<\/p>\n

Authorities say rioters have exploited public concern over rising living costs and the sharp depreciation of the rial\u2014problems attributed to unilateral US sanctions targeting Iran\u2019s central bank and oil exports.<\/p>\n

Security and judicial officials have announced the dismantling of several armed terror cells and the arrest of foreign-linked operatives, saying the unrest has claimed the lives of several law enforcement officers.<\/p>\n

Iranian officials say acts of violence have been openly encouraged by American and Israeli figures, including Trump\u2019s warnings that Washington could attack Iran if what he called \u201cpeaceful protesters\u201d were harmed, as well as statements by former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo hinting at Israeli intelligence involvement and separatist plots.<\/p>\n

Ayatollah Khamenei closed by urging unity, particularly among the youth. \u201cPreserve your faith, your political awareness, your presence and your readiness,\u201d he said, repeating his call to safeguard national unity. \u201cA united nation overcomes any enemy.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Friday, large crowds of Iranians took to the streets across the country to denounce the riots, voicing support for the Islamic Republic and echoing the leader\u2019s call for unity in the face of foreign pressure.<\/p>\n

US eyes other nations’ resources<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei dismissed those who become upset by Iran\u2019s resistance to the United States as \u201cheedless,\u201d stressing that they ignore a basic reality: it was the US and its allies that \u201cstarted the confrontation with the Iranian nation and continue it.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said Washington\u2019s hostility stems from the fact that the Islamic Republic, backed by popular support, \u201ctook vast wealth and enormous resources of Iran out of their grip,\u201d a development that has left the US \u201cangered and resentful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pointing to Latin American affairs as a clear example of US behavior \u2014 an apparent reference to Washington\u2019s recent aggression on Venezuela and the kidnapping of President Nicol\u00e1s Maduro \u2014 Ayatollah Khamenei said the United States seeks to seize other nations\u2019 resources.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey besiege a country and shamelessly say we did it for the oil,\u201d he said, recalling that before Iran\u2019s 1979 Islamic Revolution, the country\u2019s oil and resources were likewise \u201cin the hands of the arrogant powers, the Zionists, and their agents.\u201d<\/p>\n
