Media personality and political commentator Tucker Carlson and his team visited some of the 2,000 Palestinians<\/a> from Gaza<\/a> who have been taken in by Qatar<\/a> – including orphans and child amputees – during his recent trip to Doha.<\/p>\n

In a new episode on Thursday of the Tucker Carlson Show, released after the visit, Carlson showcased footage from inside the Qatari facilities hosting the refugees, and issued some of his strongest statements yet about Israel\u2019s<\/a> genocide in Gaza.<\/p>\n

Carlson also expressed his discomfort with filming the refugees who have suffered through so much. \u201cWe didn’t want to stick a big camera into the people\u2019s faces, so we shot with an iPhone,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He said he and his team \u201chad to hold back tears\u201d as they witnessed what he called \u201cthe cruelty of the evil Israeli regime\u201d, expressed through the injuries of children. \u201cDisfigured kids with their limbs blown off, and mangled faces. The real crime is that the supporters of this atrocity are justifying it,\u201d Carlson said.<\/p>\n

The former CNN and Fox News commentator added that Israel shot \u201cdozens and dozens of journalists so that no one can film what\u2019s happening\u201d. Besides, Carlson said, Qatar wanted to evacuate and host far more Palestinians, but Israel \u201cwould not allow it\u201d.<\/p>\n

The episode and his visit to the Gaza refugees have received a wave of praise on social media this week, as well as some criticism that claimed that Carlson was “antisemitic”.<\/p>\n
