They see themselves as the three Musketeers \u2013 but are they?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Three failing leaders with no popular support at home keep trying to insert themselves into the Russia-Ukraine peace process.<\/p>\n

And most of what they do is try hard to derail all the US President Donald J. Trump\u2019s initiatives.<\/p>\n

The problem is, if they hsve success at that too much, Trump may just walk out and leave them with the whole Ukraine hot potato from them deal with \u2013 which they can\u2019t, for lack of money, weapons, ammo and even troops.<\/p>\n

So, even if they win, they\u2019ll lose: they are just three stooges.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are talking, of course, of Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer, and Friedrich Merz. Let\u2019s look at their sinking popularity levels:<\/p>\n

Keir Starmer (City AM\/Freshwater Strategy, November 2025)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Positive (approve): 23%<\/em><\/p>\n

Negative (disapprove): 70%<\/em><\/p>\n

Emmanuel Macron (Verian Group, October 2025)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Approval: 11%<\/em><\/p>\n

Disapproval: 89%<\/em><\/p>\n

Friedrich Merz (INSA for Bild, December 2025)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Approval: 23%<\/em><\/p>\n

Disapproval: 77%<\/em><\/p>\n

You read it right:<\/strong> those guys \u2013 that 89%, 77% and 70% of their citizens oppose \u2013 seem to think they have a broad mandate to interfere in the peace process, and to be an opposing pole against the overwhelming peace pressure from Donald J. Trump.<\/p>\n

Today (8), the stooges will meet again in London.<\/p>\n

Starmer will host Macron, Merz and their inevitable \u2018hero\u2019 Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n

The will reportedly discuss \u2018the situation in Ukraine\u2019 (a.k.a. Ukraine\u2019s frontlines collapsing) and the ongoing negotiations under US mediation.<\/p>\n

Reuters<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2019Ukraine can count on our unwavering support. That is the whole point of the efforts we have undertaken as part of the Coalition of the Willing\u2019, Macron said on X.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u2018We will continue these efforts alongside the Americans to provide Ukraine with security guarantees, without which there can be no robust and lasting peace. For what is at stake in Ukraine is also the security of Europe as a whole\u2019, he added.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Macron condemned the weekend strikes targeting Ukraine\u2019s energy and rail infrastructure.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Russia is locked into an escalatory approach and is not seeking peace \u2026 We must continue to put pressure on Russia to force it to make peace\u2019, he added.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
