The commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says\u00a0Iran must equip its missiles with stealth technology to enhance their ability to penetrate Israel\u2019s anti-missile system.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIf we can equip our missiles with stealth technology, we will certainly be able to further increase their penetration rate through the Zionist regime\u2019s defense shield,\u201d Major General Mohammad Pakpour said on Sunday.<\/p>\n He referred to the Israeli-American aggression against Iran in mid-June, noting that Israel and the United States believed the collapse of Iran\u2019s command system through assassinating senior commanders would inevitably lead to a breakdown in operational fields. \u201cBut it was a major miscalculation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Pakpour explained that immediately after his appointment, following the assassination of his predecessor, the IRGC forces, in cooperation with the Army, launched intense and decisive counter-operations against Israel.<\/p>\n According to him, Tel Aviv had assumed Iran would fire only five or six missiles on the first day of the war. Instead, the Armed Forces immediately began large-scale operations, deploying a volley of drones and ballistic missiles against the Israeli regime.<\/p>\n Highlighting Tehran\u2019s firm response to the US attack on three Iranian nuclear facilities, Pakpour said that in the final days of the war, Iran decided to respond proportionately to the number of bombs the Americans had used.<\/p>\n \u201cOn the last night of the war, the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, the most important US base in the region, was targeted by 14 missiles,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Following the heavy strike, he added, the Americans sent a message to Iran: \u201cIf you don\u2019t strike, we won\u2019t strike either.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cFinally, on the 12th day, the enemy, unable to withstand our missile strikes and national cohesion, called for a ceasefire,\u201d Pakpour said.<\/p>\n The IRGC chief stressed that the Armed Forces\u2019 missile strikes were among the main factors behind Iran\u2019s victory in the 12-day war with Israel.<\/p>\n \u201cThe enemies certainly know that if, God forbid, they attempt any action against the Islamic Republic, they will face a response even harsher and more crushing than before,\u201d he warned.<\/p>\n He added that enemy assessments have already acknowledged this reality, which is why they refrain from taking direct action against Iran.<\/p>\n Pakpour stressed the need for maintaining readiness and strengthening both technical and tactical capabilities, as adversaries are also working to overcome their weaknesses.<\/p>\n He described the recent imposed war as a \u201cwar of technology and Artificial Intelligence,\u201d as Iran faced advanced US and European systems on the battlefield.<\/p>\n The commander urged the Armed Forces to prioritize air defense and the development of stealth technologies.<\/p>\n On June 13, Israel launched an unprovoked war against Iran, assassinating many high-ranking military commanders, nuclear scientists, and ordinary civilians.<\/p>\n More than a week later, the United States also entered the war and bombed three Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, in a clear violation of international law and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).<\/p>\n In response, the Iranian Armed Forces targeted strategic sites across the occupied territories as well as the al-Udeid air base.<\/p>\n On June 24, Iran, through its successful retaliatory operations against both the Israeli regime and the US, managed to impose a halt to the illegal assault.<\/p>\n
