Two days ago I covered the myriad ways<\/a> the world was turning its collective fire on Israel, leading one BBC journalist to describe them as \u201cisolated\u201d.<\/p>\n

In the two days since, that isolation has only increased.<\/p>\n

Earlier today, dozens of delegations walked out in protest<\/a> during Netanyahu\u2019s speech to the UN.<\/p>\n

The Spanish and Italian navies are reportedly sending warships<\/a> to protect Greta Thunberg\u2019s aid flotilla in the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n

Meeting in New York during the UN Summit, members of The Hague Group<\/a> (an activist group comprising various countries, including South Africa, Brazil and Malaysia) issued statements calling for the \u201cInternational Community\u201d<\/em> to \u201cdeny Israel the tools of genocide\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian foreign minister stated<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe must turn indignation into action, law into justice and justice into peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dockworkers\u2019 Unions from across Europe are uniting to try and \u201csqueeze\u201d Israel<\/a> over Gaza.<\/p>\n

Microsoft have claimed they are blocking the Israeli military from using some of its software to prevent illegal mass surveillance<\/a> in Gaza.<\/p>\n

Israel\u2019s positions in Eurovision<\/a> and UEFA<\/a> are also in doubt.<\/p>\n

The warring combatants are embracing the roles of Face and Heel, with Gaza\u2019s president announcing his openness to a negotiated two-state solution<\/a>, even as Israel broadens its offensive<\/a> in Gaza, shells hospitals<\/a> and shuts down the only international crossing<\/a> into the West Bank.<\/p>\n

The Times of Israel reports<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n

Israel is speeding toward global pariah status, with Trump as its only shield<\/p>\n

And even Trump\u2019s support is far from certain, he has already questioned the Qatar bombing and vowed not to let Israel occupy the West Bank<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To paraphrase my co-editor Catte, it looks like a whole bunch of people are about to be handed something they\u2019ve wanted for years. Hopefully, they all take a moment to ask why.<\/p>\n
