Both venues said refunds would be issued.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>A post on Morrissey\u2019s official social media pages reads \u201cIn recent days, there has been a credible threat on Morrissey\u2019s life,\u201d adding that \u201cOut of an abundance of caution for the safety of both the artist and band\u2019, the two dates were pulled.\u201d<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\u2018Credible\u2019 Morrissey assassination threat prompts rocker to cancel Boston, Connecticut shows <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/9XopaoBAAp\">https:\/\/t.co\/9XopaoBAAp<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/y2KFj12Vqj\">pic.twitter.com\/y2KFj12Vqj<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 New York Post (@nypost) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nypost\/status\/1969203866714477033?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 20, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The report also notes that a threat to kill Morrissey was also made by a deranged\u00a0leftist on Bluesky prior to the singer\u2019s CityFolk appearance in Ottawa.<\/p>\n<p>Police arrested a 26-year old man on Sept. 12 and charged him with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, later releasing him on $5,000 bail.<\/p>\n<p>This serves as yet another example of the rise of \u2018assassination culture\u2019 among leftist extremists.<\/p>\n<p>Morrissey\u00a0has become a pariah in the music industry establishment due to his \u2018politically incorrect\u2019 opinions\u00a0confronting the conformist creed of the bed-wetting mob.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mSR6dRX_uB4?si=8TjD2DujNRQu4u3y\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&#8212;<\/div>\n<p>For a time, the former Smiths frontman, who maintains a loyal hardcore fanbase, couldn\u2019t find a record deal due to the blisteringly honest themes of his work, which including a whole album condemning the May 2017 Manchester Arena bombing by Islamic jihadist Salman Abedi, which claimed the lives of 23 people and injured 800, many of them children.<\/p>\n<p>As we have previously highlighted, the Manchester Arena bombing is a harrowing example of how political correctness literally kills.<\/p>\n<p>Suicide bomber Abedi was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/2018\/07\/31\/navy-rescued-manchester-bomber-salman-abedi-war-torn-libya-three\/\">rescued as a \u2018refugee\u2019<\/a>\u00a0by the British Royal Navy following the overthrow of Colonel Gadaffi in Libya.<\/p>\n<p>On the night of the Manchester Arena bombing, numerous concertgoers and security guards saw Abedi acting suspiciously but were either ignored or didn\u2019t report the terrorist\u2019s alarming behaviour for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/modernity.news\/2021\/06\/17\/manchester-arena-bombing-inquiry-finds-fears-of-security-guards-being-called-racist-prevented-jihadist-from-being-stopped\/\">fear of being labeled \u201cracist.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The same label that has made Morrissey public enemy number one for an industry that reacts to honesty, authenticity and integrity in music like a vampire reacts to sunlight.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Indie rock icon Morrissey points to images of Klaus Schwab, Fauci and Bill Gates, singing \u201ceducated criminals work within the law.\u201d This is why he is shunned by the industry establishment.
