{"id":313843,"date":"2025-08-18T05:50:33","date_gmt":"2025-08-18T05:50:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=313843"},"modified":"2025-08-19T07:04:21","modified_gmt":"2025-08-19T07:04:21","slug":"british-army-colonel-civil-war-is-coming","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=313843","title":{"rendered":"British Army Colonel: CIVIL WAR Is Coming"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Steve Watson \u2013 modernity.news Aug 16, 2025<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><strong>A retired British Army Colonel is warning that he believes a civil war in the country is now inevitable because politicians are unwilling to take meaningful actions to fix societal collapse.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Colonel Richard Kemp, who has served on the\u00a0Joint Intelligence Committee and the Cabinet Office crisis centre COBRA, urges that\u00a0an alliance \u201cof the hard left and Islamist extremists\u201d will clash with broadly conservative British people and that it will lead to widespread prolonged unrest.<\/p>\n<p>Kemp suggests that \u201ctogether with other causes,\u201d these Islamist leftists will \u201ccome together to threaten the cohesion and the culture, the entire culture and political existence of the West.\u201d<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">&#8220;The more it develops, the more unrest we\u2019re going to see\u2026 I would go as far as to predict not just civil unrest but civil war in the UK, in the coming years\u2026 I would hate to be right on this, but I believe I know that there is no political solution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I spoke to former Colonel\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/kxBJlkbqdF\">pic.twitter.com\/kxBJlkbqdF<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Connor Tomlinson (@Con_Tomlinson) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Con_Tomlinson\/status\/1956071151802646603?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 14, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Kemp, who fought counter insurgency in Northern Ireland, served in the Gulf war, Bosnia, and commanded in Afghanistan, asserts that the agitators are\u00a0\u201cfostered by,\u201d and \u201cfunded to a large extent, by our international enemies like Russia, China, Iran, and other countries as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with podcaster\u00a0Conor Tomlinson, Kemp remarks that\u00a0politicians in the UK are \u201cin a state of bewilderment, they\u2019re like rabbits in headlights,\u201d and that while they understand how the unrest is being fomented, they are unable or unwilling to put a stop to it.<\/p>\n<p>Kemp says of political leaders that their\u00a0\u201chorizon is four years,\u201d and \u201cThey want to keep a state of equilibrium for that time, they want to do what they can to make sure they win the next election.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey don\u2019t want to take the radical sort of action that might be necessary to address these sorts of problems,\u201d the Colonel stresses, highlighting mass migration as one major issue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s only so much that I think people can take of that, and they\u2019ve been very quiet up until now, the people in the UK have not really raised their voices against this, or in a very limited way only. But the more it develops, and it is going to develop more and more, the more unrest we are going to see,\u201d Kemp emphasises.<\/p>\n<p>He adds, \u201cthey have no option.
