Donald Trump warned Benjamin Netanyahu not to derail the US-Iran nuclear talks by launching strikes on the Islamic Republic.<\/p>\n

Amid widespread rumours of heated phone calls between the Israeli prime minister and Donald Trump<\/a>, The New York Times reported that Mr Netanyahu raised the possibility of a unilateral attack.<\/p>\n

Last night, Mr Trump confirmed that the pair had spoken, adding: \u201cI just said I don\u2019t think it\u2019s appropriate, we\u2019re having very good discussions with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI told him this would be inappropriate to do right now because we\u2019re very close to a solution.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think they want to make a deal, and if we can make a deal, save a lot of lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Israeli officials also warned US counterparts that Mr Netanyahu<\/a> might order strikes even if a deal were achieved, according to the report.<\/p>\n

Experts and politicians in Israel are broadly of the opinion that it would be unthinkable for the Jewish state to act militarily against Iran without US co-operation.<\/p>\n

This is because Israel would need American hardware to ensure that strikes were as effective as possible, and would not want to offend Mr Trump by upstaging his diplomatic efforts.<\/p>\n

However, there is mounting concern that the US president might strike a \u201csoft\u201d deal with Iran<\/a> that would not go far enough in dismantling the country\u2019s nuclear production capability to guarantee Israel\u2019s security<\/p>\n

Strategists also worry that Israel may lose its optimum window to strike while Iran strings out the talks.<\/p>\n

Iran is considered to be particularly vulnerable at the moment, after the IDF took out the bulk of its strategic air defence system last autumn.<\/p>\n

The effective defeat of Hezbollah in Lebanon also plays in Israel\u2019s favour because, under normal circumstances, attacking Iran would have provoked a barrage of rockets from the terror group.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been said that the Daily Telegraph is a Zionist information outlet and the above article confirms that claim.<\/p>\n

The last three paragraphs are pure Israeli disinformation.<\/p>\n

Although Hezbollah may indeed have sustained losses during Israeli strikes last autumn it is far from defeated.<\/p>\n

More significantly however, claims that Israel took out the bulk Iran\u2019s strategic air defence system are a blatant lie.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s obvious because if Israel had taken out Iran\u2019s strategic air defences its air force would have taken the opportunity to take out the rest of Iran\u2019s nuclear facilities.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The fact that it didn\u2019t tells us that this article is utter drivel<\/p>\n

So why didn\u2019t the Israeli Air Force follow up? That\u2019s the million dollar question and the Telegraph\u2019s failure to even address it speaks volumes about who controls the mainstream media.<\/p>\n

However, military analysts are generally in agreement that the IAF didn\u2019t complete its mission because Iranian air defence systems had locked onto to Israel\u2019s F-35s. <\/strong><\/h3>\n

To their dismay Israel\u2019s F-35s, which were supposedly invisible to radar, had been identified and were targeted by Iran\u2019s sophisticated air defence systems.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

So rather than face an imminent hail of missiles the Israeli Air Force aborted the mission. Having inflicted only minimal damage to Iranian air defences.<\/strong><\/h3>\n
