There were other instances of Alli\u2019s largesse toward Starmer, which did not sit well with the public. The official excuse given for staying <em>chez Alli<\/em> was that one of his boys had his school exams to study for, yet the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/ukpolitics\/comments\/1fpam4g\/starmers_explanation_doesnt_stack_up_his_latest\/\">timing is suspicious<\/a>. Starmer, as the head of Crown Prosecutions at the time, did not do this, needless to say.
