The Kuwaiti Field Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza<\/p>\n
An Israeli airstrike hit yet another hospital in the Gaza Strip, killing a medic and wounding at least 10 people \u2014 all patients and medics.<\/strong><\/p>\n According to the hospital’s\u00a0director, Dr. Suhaib al-Hamss, the regime\u2019s forces attacked the northern gate of the Kuwaiti Field Hospital in the al-Mawasi area in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday.<\/p>\n The deadly attack on the grounds of the field hospital was the second on a Gaza health facility in three days.<\/p>\n Gaza City\u2019s al-Ahli Hospital,\u00a0a mainstay of Gaza\u2019s broken healthcare system, came under attack by an Israeli warplane early Sunday.<\/p>\n The United Nations said a child patient with a reported head injury died while being evacuated.<\/p>\n In a Tuesday statement, Gaza\u2019s Health Ministry said the Israeli regime intents \u201cto inflict greater damage to the health care system\u201d by attacking the enclave\u2019s health facilities,<\/p>\n It said Israeli forces \u201cthreatens the treatment of the wounded and sick, even in hospital beds.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe occupation\u2019s crimes against medical facilities will not cease as long as there is no firm stance from international and humanitarian institutions.\u201d<\/p>\n In a separate statement, the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement also denounced the deadly attack on the field hospital, saying it came as a result of \u201cthe international community\u2019s complicity with the Zionist entity.\u201d<\/p>\n It reiterated that \u201cthe incompetence and silence of international institutions\u201d has encouraged the Israeli regime to \u201ccontinue targeting hospitals and medical personnel and perpetrate crimes of genocide.\u201d<\/p>\n Hospitals, protected under international humanitarian law, have repeatedly come under attack during Israel\u2019s campaign of genocide and ethnic cleansing since October 2023.<\/p>\n According to an updated toll released by the Health Ministry on Tuesday, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in Gaza has climbed above 51,000 people,<\/p>\n Since early Tuesday morning, Israeli forces have killed at least 13 Palestinians across Gaza, according to health officials.<\/p>\n Source<\/a><\/p>\n Also see: Gaza death toll hits 51,000 as Israel presses ahead with genocidal campaign<\/a><\/p>\n Israel bombs Gaza City’s last fully-functioning hospital<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
