Rami Davidian claimed to have rescued over 750 young Israelis and witnessed hideous scenes of rape by Hamas. Their legs were spread.\u201d As the camera displays a number of trees with rope tied around them by unknown actors, Davidian continues: \u201cEveryone who sees this knows right away that the girls were abused. Someone stripped them, someone raped them. I had to close their legs and cover their bodies, so no one else would see what I saw. No one can see those kinds of things,\u201d Davidian states, as a concerned-looking Sandberg leans in for a tearful hug.<\/p>\n<p>Davidian\u2019s fabrications were immediately embraced by legacy media outlets, with The New York Times\u2019 Bret Stephens declaring in a <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/SJUv6\">glowing review<\/a> of Sandberg\u2019s propaganda film that \u201cthe refusal by so many people to acknowledge what happened, often accompanied by sneering derision, makes it necessary\u201d to print his claims. The day before, an <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/qfL1b\">op-ed<\/a> in the Washington Post cited Davidian\u2019s false testimony to insist that compared to the \u201cthe terrible damage inflicted on the civilian population in Gaza,\u201d the \u201cviolence described in Sandberg\u2019s documentary\u2026 occupies a different plane of calculated cruelty \u2014 indeed, of evil.\u201d<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Rami Davidian, a fabled hero and central witness to many of the alleged atrocities committed on 10\/7, has now been exposed as a complete fraud. One false horror story in particular, of dozens of naked, murdered women tied to trees, was even repeatedly referenced in the UN report. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/YmgNGU10cD\">pic.twitter.com\/YmgNGU10cD<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 gato fumador (@KweenInYellow) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KweenInYellow\/status\/1908881733711212881?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 6, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Davidian\u2019s now-debunked assertions even made their way into the infamous 2024 UN <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/sexualviolenceinconflict\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/report\/mission-report-official-visit-of-the-office-of-the-srsg-svc-to-israel-and-the-occupied-west-bank-29-january-14-february-2024\/20240304-Israel-oWB-CRSV-report.pdf\">report<\/a> on sexual violence in conflict, which appears to have relied on Davidian as a \u201ccredible source\u201d for the clearly dubious claim that there were \u201cmultiple murdered individuals, mostly women, whose bodies were found naked from the waist down, some totally naked, with some gunshots in the head and\/or tied including with their hands bound behind their backs and tied to structures such as trees or poles.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Excerpt-from-UN-report-on-Oct-7.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wpa-warning wpa-image-missing-alt aligncenter size-full wp-image-306655\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Excerpt-from-UN-report-on-Oct-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"295\" data-warning=\"Missing alt text\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Excerpt-from-UN-report-on-Oct-7.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Excerpt-from-UN-report-on-Oct-7-480x221.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 640px, 100vw\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>The UN was far from the only group to take Davidian\u2019s lurid fantasies at face value. As Drucker wrote, \u201cIn the year and a half since the October 7 attacks, Davidian has turned his stories into an industry, [with] endless paid lectures, in Israel and abroad\u201d and \u201cdozens or perhaps hundreds of interviews with the media, in which he repeats again and again stories that did not exist.\u201d In 2024, Davidian was even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesofisrael.com\/torch-lighters-for-independence-day-chosen-to-highlight-october-7-heroism\/amp\/\">selected<\/a> to light the national torch on Israel\u2019s Independence Day, a prestigious honor bestowed on him in light of his supposed \u201cheroism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Less than two months after the Hamas attacks, Davidian was already cashing in on his dubious stories by way of an international speaking tour, beginning with what the Adelson-funded Jewish News Services described as \u201ca series of gatherings and speaking opportunities in Miami and New York to describe the role he played as a civilian hero during the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks.\u201d In New York, Davidian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jns.org\/farmer-hero-saved-scores-while-hamas-massacred-364-at-music-festival\/\">posed<\/a> alongside Israel\u2019s notoriously mendacious UN ambassador, Gilad Erdan.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Erdan-and-Davidian.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wpa-warning wpa-image-missing-alt aligncenter size-full wp-image-306654\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Erdan-and-Davidian.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" data-warning=\"Missing alt text\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Erdan-and-Davidian.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Erdan-and-Davidian-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 640px, 100vw\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>The next year, Davidian embarked on a hasbara tour of US college campuses, appearing at numerous events sponsored by Chabad, the far-right Jewish sect known for its virulent anti-Arab racism. During one such event at Duke University, Davidian repeatedly claimed to have encountered the corpses of multiple naked women tied to trees at the site of the music festival. An Israeli woman live-translating for Davidian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dukechronicle.com\/article\/2024\/11\/duke-university-rami-davidian-rescued-700-people-october-7-2023-attacks-hamas-provosts-intiative-on-the-middle-east-millet-ben-haim-nova-music-festival\">stated<\/a>: \u2018\u201cHe cried, he screamed, \u2018Who? Who can do that?\u2019 He tried to untie the bodies and cover them. He did that for 20 minutes, then he had to continue\u2026 with his mission.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other doubtful anecdotes peddled by the man Israeli <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-hamas-war\/article-791156\">media<\/a> now refers to as \u201cthe heroic farmer\u201d include the supposed rescue of Amit Parizer, a 23-year-old woman who is described in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/amit-parizer-3ab3592b0\/?originalSubdomain=il\">LinkedIn account<\/a> matching her age as a former full-time Communication Officer of the J6 &amp; Cyber Defense Directorate of the IDF. Davidian, who speaks Arabic, claims Parizer was being \u201cactively kidnapped by five [or] six terrorists\u201d when he allegedly saved her by posing as a Yemeni Muslim.<\/p>\n<p>Due to Channel 13\u2019s last-minute move to axe their own report, the full extent of the lies told by Davidian may never be known. According to Drucker, that decision was made by the Israeli broadcaster\u2019s CEO, Emiliano Kalamzuk, who hadn\u2019t even seen the report when he decided to pull the plug. According to Drucker, Kalamzuk stated that he was attending a wedding but would \u201ctry to shorten his stay there and go watch the [program]\u201d then \u201ctalk in the afternoon after he had watched it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But the determination had apparently already been made. \u201cAn hour later he wrote to me that the episode would not be broadcast and that his decision was final. Two minutes later a statement was issued to the media,\u201d Drucker wrote. As Israeli outlet Walla <a href=\"https:\/\/e.walla.co.il\/item\/3740060\">explained<\/a>, \u201cDrucker\u2019s words raise the suspicion that the network\u2019s CEO, Emiliano Kalamzuk, did not even watch the investigation before censoring it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s true,\u201d a source at Channel 13 reportedly told Walla, while acknowledging \u201cthere is a small chance\u201d that the broadcaster\u2019s non Hebrew-speaking CEO \u201cimmediately left the wedding, sat on a chair to the side and watched the investigation, which is in Hebrew without translation.\u201d Nevertheless, the source noted, \u201cthe investigation is 53 minutes long, and he [Kalamzuk] wrote a message in an hour.\u201d\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now that Channel 13\u2019s report has been buried, the exact nature and quantity of Davidian\u2019s fabrications remain unclear. What is clear, however, is that his colorful stories are having their intended effect. While happily participating in Israel\u2019s public relations push to manufacture consent for Israel\u2019s ongoing genocide in Gaza, the \u201cheroic farmer\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ireallyhateyou\/status\/1874856623673352490?s=46&amp;t=zjVNBGPosKEP-yud7GT12g\">urged<\/a> one Israeli podcast: \u201cWipe out Gaza, there\u2019s nothing good about them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>This Substack is reader-supported.
