Clinesmith was convicted for that crime, but he never served a day in prison.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Do you know why? Because Boasberg personally sentenced Clinesmith and made sure he never saw the inside of a jail cell, despite Clinesmith\u2019s attempts to overthrow the elected U.S. government via fake evidence and fabricated warrants that Boasberg\u2019s FISA court okayed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">So this conspiracy to provide aid and comfort to criminals and enemies of the United States isn\u2019t Boasberg\u2019s first rodeo. He has a long, sordid history of violating his oath and ignoring the law in his service to America\u2019s enemies. And it\u2019s long past time for him to answer for what he\u2019s done to this country.<\/p>\n<p>Boasberg\u2019s move means that Trump will, temporarily at least, not be able to remove members of the\u00a0violent Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang, now designated as terrorists, from the country.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Correct.<\/p>\n<p>And they are designated foreign terrorists.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/yCgYW59ojq\">https:\/\/t.co\/yCgYW59ojq<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 \uf1fa\uf1f8 Mike Davis \uf1fa\uf1f8 (@mrddmia) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mrddmia\/status\/1901098896220357097?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 16, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\n&#8212;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>A lawsuit was brought against Trump by several far left groups including the ACLU and\u00a0Democracy Forward asserting that the measure, which is\u00a0within the Executive\u2019s constitutional authority,\u00a0would be unlawful and unprecedented.<\/p>\n<p>The judge\u2019s ruling will halt deportations for those named in the lawsuit for a fortnight, with the aim clearly being a further legal tussle in an effort to prevent Trump from pressing ahead with mass deportations of illegal immigrants.<\/p>\n<p>Trump wants to fast-track deportations of Venezuelan nationals with suspected ties to criminal organizations.
