{"id":302622,"date":"2025-01-28T07:08:43","date_gmt":"2025-01-28T07:08:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=302622"},"modified":"2025-01-29T08:55:24","modified_gmt":"2025-01-29T08:55:24","slug":"heavy-fighting-in-west-banks-tulkarm-as-israeli-bulldozers-raze-homes-in-refugee-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=302622","title":{"rendered":"Heavy fighting in West Bank&#8217;s Tulkarm as Israeli bulldozers raze homes in refugee camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Press TV \u2013 Jan 28, 2025<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><strong>Invading Israeli forces have engaged in heavy clashes\u00a0with Palestinian\u00a0resistance fighters in the occupied West Bank&#8217;s Tulkarm governorate.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The resistance fighters said on Monday that they ambushed Israeli soldiers and inflicted multiple casualties on them in the Tulkarm refugee camp.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the day, \u00a0an Israeli drone struck a vehicle at the entrance of the Nur Shams refugee camp, also in the Tulkarm governorate.<\/p>\n<p>The Hamas resistance group said Ihab Muhammad Atwi and Ramez Bassam Damiri, two members of its armed wing &#8211; the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades &#8211; were killed\u00a0in the Israeli attack.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Israeli bulldozers destroyed infrastructure, including roads, homes and shops, in the Tulkarm refugee camp, particularly in al-Balawna, al-Wakalah, and al-Madrasa neighborhoods.<\/p>\n<p>The occupation soldiers forced several families at gunpoint to leave their homes in the al-Mattar and Murabba&#8217;at Hannoun districts.
