On the third day of Israel’s major assault on the Jenin refugee camp in the\u00a0occupied West Bank city, Palestinians are subjected to\u00a0forced displacement, mass arrests and and\u00a0field executions, Wafa reports.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Israeli forces have imposed a complete siege on the camp, deploying special units, drones and biometric and facial recognition systems to monitor and control the area, the Palestinian news agency said Thursday.<\/p>\n

The invaders have stepped their mass arrest, strip search\u00a0and interrogation of residents,\u00a0forcibly expelling them\u00a0from their homes after\u00a0ordering them out via loudspeakers and air-dropped leaflets.<\/p>\n

The advocacy group Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said Israeli forces have carried out field executions\u00a0as a form of “collective punishment” to undermine any form of resistance.<\/p>\n

Medical sources say Israeli forces have killed at least 13 Palestinians and wounded 50 since the Israeli attacks began on Tuesday morning.\u00a0Medics\u00a0attempting to treat the wounded continue to face extreme restrictions by Israeli forces.<\/p>\n

The movement of ambulances is heavily controlled by Israeli forces, and medical personnel are being searched and interrogated before being allowed to bring aid.<\/p>\n

Palestine TV reported that news coverage of the raids has been severely hampered. Israeli soldiers forced its crew to shut down live broadcasts, confiscated cameras and phones, and threatened to storm the building where the TV office is located.<\/p>\n

The soldiers pursued correspondents, even after they tried to retreat, making it clear that their reporting was unwelcome.<\/p>\n

“We expect our office to be stormed at any moment,” correspondent Amna Bilalo stated.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the Israeli military bombed and stormed Jenin as it launched a major onslaught on the northern occupied West Bank city, days after a ceasefire in Gaza took hold.<\/p>\n

The bombing accompanied a large-scale ground assault by Israeli forces, which is expected to continue for now.<\/p>\n

The invasion has led to widespread fear and hardship, with local infrastructure severely damaged and medical access restricted.<\/p>\n

Salah, a Jenin camp resident, described how biometric recognition technology is used to target young men for further interrogation and arrest, often without clear suspicion.<\/p>\n

“Those they have records on get arrested. You don\u2019t know what happens to them after they\u2019re taken – whether they\u2019re beaten or worse. You have no idea,” Salah was quoted as saying.<\/p>\n

Observers maintain that the new Trump team is in lockstep with Israel’s assault to dismantle the refugee camps in preparation for an annexation. This is a recipe for disaster and much more conflict to come.<\/p>\n
