The Health Ministry said that more than 35 people have been wounded.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for the Palestinian Authority\u2019s (PA) security forces said in a statement that Israeli forces \u201copened fire on civilians and security forces, resulting in injuries to several civilians and a number of security personnel, one of whom is in critical condition\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the operation aimed to \u201ceradicate terrorism\u201d.
