The election was over two months ago and people are still talking about Biden\u2019s obvious mental decline. Journalist Mark Halperin is saying that the media must admit their role in covering it up.<\/a><\/p>\n

The editorial board at the New York Post is taking a more extreme position, saying that any journalists who gaslighted the country on this should never live it down.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s easy to see why the Post would take this position. Remember, they were targeted by other media outlets when they tried to report on the completely real Hunter Biden laptop.<\/p>\n

From the New York Post:<\/a><\/p>\n

President-elect Donald Trump is forcing the Democratic politicians who spent years lying about President Biden\u2019s senility to take their bitter medicine, but we\u2019re more concerned about the toady media who played along.<\/p>\n

Trump on Monday posted a video showing clip after cringe-worthy clip of Democratic leaders from Rep. Nancy Pelosi to Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas denying again and again that Biden was mentally and physically deteriorating, claiming he was \u201csharp,\u201d \u201con his game,\u201d \u201cfocused\u201d and that \u201chis age is an asset.\u201d<\/p>\n

Every last one deserves scorn, but so do the journalists who not only let these fantastical fibs go unchallenged, but even parroted the lies: Biden was showing no signs of mental decline, they insisted \u2014 and it was offensive, ignorant and borderline bigoted to even suggest otherwise.<\/p>\n

The entire idea that Biden was anything but healthy \u2014 virile, even \u2014 was treated as a right-wing, tin-foil-hat talking point\u2026<\/p>\n

And at every turn, spineless, in-the-tank journos obediently did Team Biden\u2019s propagandistic dirty work \u2014 right up until the debate, when Biden\u2019s senility became too unmistakable to continue denying.<\/p>\n

Ed Morrissey of Hot Air<\/a> says that it\u2019s too late for the media:<\/p>\n

It\u2019s too late, even if they were inclined to try. They had four years of opportunity to demonstrate integrity, or perhaps even five, as the signs of Biden\u2019s decline were obvious even during the presidential campaign. The final debate with Donald Trump had Biden \u201csundowning\u201d in the latter third of the debate, when Biden got lost in a debate on fracking and energy production. Their willingness to kowtow to the Democrat elite and go along with this cover-up enabled the fraud on the American public, and they\u2019re still far from coming clean on it \u2014 even as Biden remains in charge for another 18 days.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why it is so important to support independent media and platforms.<\/p>\n

The New York Post is right. These people never should live this down. They lied to the country and attacked people for telling the truth.<\/p>\n
