{"id":295660,"date":"2024-09-28T05:00:14","date_gmt":"2024-09-28T05:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=295660"},"modified":"2024-09-29T07:46:50","modified_gmt":"2024-09-29T07:46:50","slug":"spain-set-to-legalize-half-a-million-illegal-immigrants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=295660","title":{"rendered":"Spain Set To Legalize Half a Million Illegal Immigrants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Illegal migrants make their way up a beach after landing their dinghy in Spain<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Paul Joseph Watson \u2013 modernity.new Sept 24, 2024<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><strong>Spain is set to legalize half a million illegal immigrants in order to fight \u201cracism\u201d under a new piece of legislation proposed by the country\u2019s left-wing coalition government.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Concerns over mass migration have intensified after 40,000 illegal migrants arrived by sea or land in the year to mid-September, a 43 per cent increase on 2023 numbers.<\/p>\n<p>The government\u2019s \u2018solution\u2019 is simply to give many of them residency papers following a campaign by pressure group Regularisation Now, which spearheaded a petition containing 700,000 signatures calling for the mass amnesty.<\/p>\n<p>Yolanda Diaz, deputy prime minister and labour minister, said the legislation was crucial to give sanctuary to \u201chalf a million people who live and work in our country as our neighbours,\u201d adding that \u201cracism\u201d should be met with \u201cmore rights\u201d.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Mti1D4hzPEo?si=AylF39nxVbo87FRL\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n&#8212;<\/div>\n<p>However, right-wing Vox party leader Santiago Abascal said that Spain was the target of an \u201cinvasion,\u201d and that his party would expel all illegal immigrants if they came to power.<\/p>\n<p>Although Spain is somewhat behind other western European countries in terms of the sheer influx of migrants pouring in, it is now beginning to experience similar problems.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, official statistics <a href=\"https:\/\/modernity.news\/2022\/10\/12\/official-figures-show-foreigners-responsible-for-52-per-cent-of-all-rapes-in-spain\/\">revealed<\/a> that foreigners accounted for over 52 per cent of rape convictions despite representing just over 11 per cent of the population.<\/p>\n<p>Out of the 244 sexual assault convictions, Africans accounted for 93 cases despite representing only 2.4 per cent of the Spanish population.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, neighboring France is set to take a very different approach.<\/p>\n<p>The country\u2019s new new interior minister Bruno Retailleau has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/world-news\/2024\/09\/24\/france-expel-illegal-immigrants-broken-in-bruno-retailleau\/\">vowed<\/a> to deport illegal immigrants who have \u201cbroken into\u201d France.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy objective is to put a stop to illegal entries and to increase exits, particularly for illegal immigrants, because one should not stay in France when one has broken in,\u201d said Retailleau.<\/p>\n<p><em>Your support is crucial in helping us defeat mass censorship.
