The Hezbollah resistance movement has fired heavy barrages of rockets toward settlements in the northern part of the occupied Palestinian territories in retaliation for Israel\u2019s deadly attacks on Lebanon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In statements released on Sunday,\u00a0Hezbollah said that it has twice targeted the settlement of Kiryat Shmona with Falaq rockets.<\/p>\n

The resistance group also noted that it had fired Katyusha rockets toward the Shamir settlement.<\/p>\n

Israeli media reported there were no injuries in the Hezbollah strikes, however, they said, some rockets had impacted their targets and caused damage.<\/p>\n

Hezbollah said that it had conducted the attacks in support of \u201csteadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance\u201d against Israel.<\/p>\n

The raids, it added, came in response to the enemy\u2019s attacks on Lebanon\u2019s \u201csouthern villages and safe homes, especially the horrific massacre in the town of Froun.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Saturday, an Israel airstrike killed three Lebanese emergency workers and injured two others as they tried to contain a fire in Froun.<\/p>\n

The Lebanese Health Ministry said the aerial assault underscores the \u201cbarbaric and aggressive intentions\u201d of the Israeli enemy, which \u201cpersists in carrying out violations prohibited by international law, leaving no space for humanitarian missions that are normally permitted even in the most brutal and devastating wars.\u201d<\/p>\n

Separately, Lebanon\u2019s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati denounced the strike as \u201ca blatant violation of international law\u00a0and a blatant aggression against human values.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Israeli regime has been staging numerous sporadic attacks against southern Lebanon since October 7, 2023, when it launched a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n

Hezbollah has launched a series of\u00a0strikes\u00a0against Israeli positions in retaliation for the regime\u2019s aggression against Lebanon and in solidarity with Palestinians in the besieged Gaza.<\/p>\n

Hezbollah has vowed to keep up its reprisal operations as long as the occupying regime continues its brutal Gaza onslaught, which has so far killed\u00a0at least 40,939 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 94,616\u00a0others.<\/p>\n
