A clip<\/a> from an English-language\u00a0Israeli<\/a>\u00a0podcast showing hosts Naor Meningher and Eytan Weinstein discussing the idea of eradicating all Palestinians<\/a> in the occupied West Bank and Gaza has gone viral online.<\/p>\n In an episode<\/a> of Two Nice Jewish Boys<\/a>, which aired three weeks ago, host Weinstein said: \u201cIf you gave me a button to just erase Gaza, every single living being in Gaza would no longer be living tomorrow. I would press it in a second.\u201d<\/p>\n He claimed that \u201cmost Israelis\u201d would do the same.<\/p>\n Meningher added that they would also want to wipe out Palestinians in \u201cthe territories\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cBecause that\u2019s the reality we live in, it\u2019s us or them, and it has to be them,\u201d Weinstein said.<\/p>\n He added that Israelis want \u201cfull-scale war\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cFull-scale war wouldn\u2019t mean that we\u2019re just in Gaza,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd it also wouldn\u2019t mean what we\u2019re doing in Gaza, because in Gaza, maybe there\u2019s mass destruction but there’s not massive death.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cForgive us if we don\u2019t give a shit if everybody there dies. It\u2019s just the way we feel. It\u2019s just the way Israelis feel,\u201d Weinstein said.<\/p>\n In a later episode,\u00a0the two discussed what they deemed to be Israel\u2019s failures in its ongoing war on Gaza, with Weinstein saying that the government should stop \u201ctrying to get international acceptance\u201d and \u201cinstil sovereignty over and annex the West Bank, Gaza\u2026 make it all Israel\u201d.<\/p>\n Weinstein added that Israel\u2019s \u201c50-year plan\u201d should involve conquering Lebanon. He also referred to Hezbollah and its allies as \u201cgoat fuckers\u201d.<\/p>\n On the UN-led polio vaccination programme currently underway in Gaza, Meningher said: \u201cIt\u2019s unclear to me, why do we give this humanitarian relief when our hostages never saw a Red Cross?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe baby that\u2019s born in Gaza is technically innocent, I could give zero fucks, I don\u2019t care if he gets polio,\u201d Weinstein said.<\/p>\n The clip of\u00a0Weinstein and\u00a0Meningher lauding the idea of all five million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and West Bank being wiped out has drawn fierce\u00a0criticism online.<\/p>\n \u201cRadio Rwanda in full effect here. This is deeply disturbing,\u201d journalist Samira Mohyedeen wrote on X, referring to the broadcasts that incited genocide against the Tutsis during the 1994 Rwandan genocide.<\/p>\n CBC journalist Evan Dyer shared the clip on X<\/a>, pointing to Meningher\u2019s former media roles in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\u2019s last five political campaigns.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is not a fringe show or fringe people\u2026 the show is as mainstream as it gets,\u201d Dyer wrote, citing a review of the podcast by Times of Israel that billed it as a \u201cplatform for free and open conversations\u201d.<\/p>\n (1\/4) \u201cTwo Nice Jewish Boys\u201d bills itself as Israel\u2019s \u201clongest-running English-language podcast\u201d.
