You know, I thought a lot about it. We defeated him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump continued, \u201cHe was badly beaten. And, you know, everybody who was going to him said, \u2018You can\u2019t beat him. You\u2019re not going to beat this guy. You can\u2019t beat him. Get out. Get out. We want you out\u2026We want you out of the race. You\u2019re going to lose. We want to put somebody else in.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump compared the situation to \u201ca prizefighter,\u201d explaining \u201cHe\u2019s losing badly, ready to be knocked out. And they say, well, wait, let\u2019s stop the fight. Let\u2019s put somebody else in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t work that way. And it\u2019s not supposed to work that way. And this really was a coup by the Democrats. This was a coup. He said, \u2018I\u2019ll never go out. I\u2019ll never, ever go out.\u2019 About two days later, \u2018I\u2019m proud to go out.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump further declared \u201cthe fascists went after him. They threatened him with the 25th Amendment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey said, we can do it the nice way or we can do it the hard way, Joe. That\u2019s what happened. I know,\u201d Trump added, referring to reports of what Nancy Pelosi said to Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Trump continued, \u201cI know as many people on that side as I know on our side, so to speak. But that\u2019s what happened. They said, we can do it the hard way. We can do it the easy way. 25th Amendment, if you don\u2019t go. And he said, \u2018Oh, I\u2019ll go.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd now they\u2019re trying to make him into a brave hero. He\u2019s so brave,\u201d Trump concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere during the speech, Trump highlighted how some leftists are saying it is \u2018hateful\u2019 to pronounce Kamala Harris\u2019 name incorrectly.<\/p>\n<p>Trump proclaimed \u201cthere are numerous ways of saying her name. They were explaining to me, you can say Kamala, you can say Kamala. I said, don\u2019t worry about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter what I say. I couldn\u2019t care less if I mispronounce it or not. I couldn\u2019t care less,\u201d he urged.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome people think I mispronounce it on purpose, but actually I\u2019ve heard it said about seven different ways. There are a lot of ways.
