\nBiden: I negotiated this ceasefire
\nIsrael: There\u2019s no ceasefire agreement.
\nBiden: The ceasefire will begin soon.
\nIsrael: It won\u2019t.

The Biden administration\u2019s ceasefire resolution is a cynical fraud aimed at airbrushing Israel\u2019s tattered image while laying the groundwork for the final expulsion of the Palestinian people. In truth, there won\u2019t be a ceasefire because Netanyahu and his entire cabinet are adamantly opposed to ending the hostilities. There\u2019s not even any gray area here. After the US-drafted resolution was passed on Monday, the Israeli Prime Minister\u2019s Office delivered a terse statement saying the following:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe claim that Israel agreed to end the war before achieving all its goals is a total lie,\u201d says the PMO\u2026.<\/p>\n

The full document, argues Netanyahu\u2019s office, would show that \u201cIsrael will not end the war until all its conditions are met \u2014 that is, fighting until Hamas is eliminated,<\/strong> returning all of our hostages, and ensuring that Gaza never again represents a threat to Israel.\u201d (Times of Israel<\/em><\/a>)<\/p>\n

Repeat: \u201cIsrael will not end the war until all its conditions are met \u2014 (and) until Hamas is eliminated.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, what was the point of pushing through a ceasefire resolution when it had zero chance of being implemented? Was it just a publicity stunt?<\/p>\n

And, why is Secretary of State Anthony Blinken \u2013not only saying that Israel supports the proposal\u2013 but that Israel actually had a hand in crafting its language. Here\u2019s Blinken on Monday:<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst, let me be very clear, Israel has accepted the proposal, in fact, they were critical in putting it forward. It is the official position of the Israeli government, the prime minister. So, the only party that has not said \u2018Yes\u2019 is Hamas. That\u2019s who everyone is waiting on. That\u2019s who the Palestinians are waiting on, it\u2019s who the Israelis are waiting on, and it\u2019s who the hostages and the hostage families are waiting on. It\u2019s who the entire region and the entire world are waiting on. So, we\u2019ll see, does Hamas want to end this war that it started or not? We\u2019ll find out. But it\u2019s clear that virtually the entire world has come together in support of the proposal. So, the only question is will Hamas say \u2018Yes\u2019? @AssalRad<\/a><\/p>\n

This is a total fabrication and Blinken knows it:<\/p>\n

Israel has NOT accepted the proposal<\/p>\n

Israel was NOT \u201ccritical in putting the ceasefire resolution forward\u201d<\/p>\n

The ceasefire resolution is NOT \u201cthe official position of the Israeli government (and) the prime minister.\u201d<\/p>\n

These are baldfaced lies, and very stupid lies at that, because they can be easily checked and disproved. Take a look:<\/p>\n
