{"id":289188,"date":"2024-06-10T07:04:34","date_gmt":"2024-06-10T07:04:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=289188"},"modified":"2024-06-12T07:49:17","modified_gmt":"2024-06-12T07:49:17","slug":"kids-arrested-and-jailed-for-leaving-scooter-skid-marks-on-pride-road-mural","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=289188","title":{"rendered":"Kids ARRESTED AND JAILED For Leaving Scooter Skid Marks On \u2018Pride\u2019 Road Mural"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Steve Watson \u2013 modernity.com June 9, 2024<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><strong>A nineteen year old and two other teenage children have been arrested for leaving scooter skid marks on a LGBTQ flag painted on a road intersection in Spokane, Washington.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes, really.<\/p>\n<p>They were all charged with first-degree malicious mischief, a class B felony in the state, after police described the damage as\u00a0\u201cblack scuff marks consistent with scooter wheels.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Good lord, the horror.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.krem.com\/article\/news\/local\/arrests-wednesday-at-newly-painted-pride-crosswalk-mural\/293-57722e04-0df0-4484-856e-fed3d7a37c23\">KREM\u00a0<\/a>News reports that the precious\u00a0mural had recently been repainted after\u00a0a\u00a0previous incident last month when multiple suspects covered the road painting in flammable liquid and set it ablaze.<\/p>\n<p>The report quotes a woman who called police on the kids as saying \u201cwe\u2019re not gonna sit by as we watch people deliberately commit a hate crime like right in the middle of downtown.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe see that you have done this thing,\u201d\u00a0Kaylee Gaines McGee stated, further complaining that \u201cPeople don\u2019t just go and do that without intention. You don\u2019t destroy symbols without intention behind it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re just kids, for God\u2019s sake.<\/p>\n<p>While prosecutors had sought to set a $15,000 bail for the 19 year old, he was let out of jail on the proviso not to go near the mural again.<\/p>\n<p>The other two children were released after being held in\u00a0the Spokane County Juvenile Detention Center.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a road.
