A massive pro-Hamas protest\u00a0marking eight months since Israel\u2019s war in Gaza began \u2014 and blasting the Biden administration\u2019s support of the Jewish state \u2014 descended outside a girded White House Saturday.<\/p>\n

An estimated 30,000 pro-Palestinian\u00a0protesters started arriving\u00a0outside the Executive Mansion around noon.<\/p>\n

Members of the Answer Coalition, one of the activist groups taking part in the mass demonstration, unveiled a \u201ctwo-mile long\u201d red banner, in reference to the \u201cred line\u201d they say President Biden let Israel blow past during its invasion of Rafah.<\/p>\n

The banner \u201clists the over 40,000 Palestinians martyred by Israel since Oct. 7,\u201d the group posted on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Other footage posted to social media showed some of the protesters igniting smoke bomb\u00a0flares<\/a> they then tossed onto the White House lawn.<\/p>\n

The Andrew Jackson statue outside the White House was vandalized with the phrases \u201cFree Gaza\u201d and \u201cBoycott Israel Products,\u201d another X post showed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Israel\u2019s retaliatory invasion of the enclave began after Hamas\u2019 massacre of 1,200 Israeli citizens<\/a> on Oct 7.<\/p>\n

Fencing was erected around the White House compound in anticipation of the demonstrators, who are frequently known to be violent.<\/a> The fence is a second line of defense after the considerable barrier already surrounding the grounds.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn preparation for the events this weekend in Washington, DC, that have the potential for large crowds to gather, additional public safety measures including anti-scale fencing have been put in place near the White House complex,\u201d a Secret Service spokesman told The Hill.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cBiden can\u2019t draw the line, but we can. On June 8, we will come together from across the country and surround the White House. Wearing red, and raising our demands high, we will show the world that we are the red line,\u201d Answer Coalition, an activist group taking part in the demonstration, declared on its website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe demand an immediate cease-fire, an immediate end to the siege on Gaza, the freedom of all Palestinian prisoners and an end to the occupation of Palestine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pro-Hamas rioters have dogged Biden and pro-Israel Democrats around the country, demanding they call for a cease-fire that would save the terrorist organization from annihilation. National Democrats are preparing for a show of force by far-left Hamas supporters at their August convention in Chicago.<\/p>\n

Biden will get a reprieve from the expected unrest outside the White House as he is still in France, where he\u2019s been marking the 80th anniversary celebrations of the D-Day landings<\/a> in Normandy during World War II.<\/p>\n

He will be honored with a state banquet and military parade there on Saturday.<\/p>\n
