{"id":283247,"date":"2024-03-10T08:02:47","date_gmt":"2024-03-10T08:02:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=283247"},"modified":"2024-03-11T08:16:57","modified_gmt":"2024-03-11T08:16:57","slug":"tyranny-trudeaus-canada-will-imprison-anyone-it-thinks-might-commit-a-hate-crime-could-punish-them-with-life-sentences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=283247","title":{"rendered":"TYRANNY: Trudeau\u2019s Canada Will Imprison Anyone It Thinks \u2018Might\u2019 Commit a Hate Crime, Could Punish Them With Life Sentences"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Ben Kew \u2013 The Gateway Pundit March 9, 2024<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Justin Trudeau\u2019s far-left Canadian government is planning on putting anyone they suspect \u201cmight\u201d commit a hate crime.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Telegraph <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-gb\/entertainment\/music\/canada-wants-to-put-people-who-may-commit-hate-crimes-under-house-arrest\/ar-BB1jvfQO\">reports<\/a> that the draconian policy will form part of the Trudeau regime\u2019s \u2018Online Harms Bill,\u2019 designed to crack down on any opposition to the anti-progressive agenda.<\/p>\n<p>One of the measures within the bill would give judges the power to place individuals under house arrest and force them to wear an electronic tag if they believe that individual could commit a hate crime in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Although the bill does include a clampdown on issues such as child pornography, much of its language revolves around battling so-called hate speech.<\/p>\n<p>The country\u2019s Justice Minister, Arif Virani, declared the legislation could play a \u201cvery important\u201d role in preventing criticism of minorities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201d[If] there\u2019s a genuine fear of an escalation, then an individual or group could come forward and seek a peace bond against them and to prevent them from doing certain things,\u201d Virani explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat would help to de-radicalise people who are learning things online and acting out in the real world violently \u2013 sometimes fatally.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">CANADA: Should judges be allowed to sentence people they think might commit a hate crime in the future?
