NATO warships in the eastern Mediterranean<\/p>\n
On November 19th<\/sup> Turkey announced, that it is banning any US and NATO ships from entering the Black Sea.<\/strong><\/p>\n A vast US naval buildup is taking place in the eastern Mediterranean \u2013 but the Turkish straits are closed to them.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Turkish naval commander has said: \u2018We declare that we do not want NATO and America in the Black Sea.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n The decision was made after a phone call by Erdogan to Putin.<\/strong><\/p>\n Turkey has refused to acknowledge Hamas as a \u2018terrorist organization\u2019 which annoys the US. Plus,\u00a0Erdogan has called Israel a terrorist state. <\/strong><\/p>\n In a speech to his Justice and development Party, he stated:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIsrael sticks to a strategy of total destruction of the city and its people. It is brutally wreaking state terror, deliberately bombing civilians on the run. I say openly, with a clear heart, that Israel is a terror site.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIsrael has been \u2018continuously committing war crimes for the last 40 days \u2026deliberately targeting hospitals, streets and mosques in Gaza, with the full backing of the West.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n He accused Netenyahu of \u201ccarrying out the most heinous attack against women and children in all of history\u201d,\u00a0and threatening people with nuclear weapons.<\/strong><\/p>\n Turkish naval forces now present in the Eastern Mediterranean are planning for a large-scale exercise: which by the rules of the game means that US ships will have to get out of the way. Its declared aim is to \u2018put an end to maritime terrorism\u2019 (!) Many Arab nations will be participating. <\/strong><\/p>\n
