Fighters from the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah have carried out simultaneous attacks on Israeli military positions, as residents of southern Lebanon reported some of the fiercest Israeli strikes during weeks\u00a0of cross-border clashes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lebanon’s Arabic-language\u00a0al-Manar television\u00a0channel, citing a Hezbollah statement released on Saturday, reported that the group conducted multiple strikes on\u00a0Jal al-Alam, al-Jardah, Hadb al-Bustan, Malkiya and Metula outposts\u00a0along\u00a0the border between Lebanon and the\u00a01948\u00a0Israeli-occupied territories.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the Lebanese resistance fighters downed an Israeli surveillance balloon that was floating over the kibbutz of Misgav Am close to the border with Lebanon.<\/p>\n

A Lebanese source said Hezbollah had fired a powerful missile, dubbed Burkan (Volcano), used for the first time in the fighting, saying it had hit an Israeli position across the border from the villages of Ayta al-Shaab and Rmeich.<\/p>\n

The Israeli military, in response to the missile and artillery attacks, struck a number of Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon.<\/p>\n

Al-Mayadeen\u00a0TV reported that the Israeli military launched airstrikes in al-Mari, Tayr\u00a0Harfa, and Ayta al-Shaab villages. The military also launched artillery strikes against the villages of Aitaroun, Ayta al-Shaab, Ramyah, Aalma ech\u00a0Chaab, Yarine and Umm al-Tut, as well as\u00a0al-Labbouneh and al-Hamames areas and the outskirts of Naqourah town.<\/p>\n

\u2018Hezbollah part of Palestinian battle against Israel\u2019<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Meanwhile, Hezbollah\u2019s Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said on Saturday that his comrades are part of the Palestinian battle against the Zionist entity.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do not see any difference between the liberation of Palestinian territories, Lebanese lands and any other area occupied by Israel,\u201d Sheikh Qassem said.<\/p>\n

He went on to sharply criticize certain Western countries for supporting the Tel Aviv regime, stressing that they must stop the Israeli onslaught on Gaza.<\/p>\n

Sheikh Qassem underscored that Hezbollah is actively thwarting Israeli plots, calling on Western statesmen to stop the Gaza war before it spills over to other areas in\u00a0West Asia.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will remain united\u00a0and work collectively for the growth of the resistance front. We will pay the price whenever necessary.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sheikh Qassem stressed that no one can ask Hezbollah to stay away from the battle since it is part of the Axis of Resistance.<\/p>\n

He stressed that Operation al-Aqsa Storm is the prelude to Israel\u2019s demise, adding that time will tell how deep is the impact\u00a0of retaliatory attacks on the regime.<\/p>\n

Sheikh Qassem emphasized that the US administration is responsible for the Israeli barbarism in Gaza, adding that the West has morally collapsed due to its support of the Israeli aggression on the Strip<\/p>\n

Hezbollah has warned that it will join the Palestinian resistance group Hamas and its allies in the fight against Israel if the regime escalates its aggression on Gaza and in case foreign military forces intervene to help the Israeli regime in the battle.<\/p>\n

Hezbollah\u2019s Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Friday the Lebanese resistance movement entered the battle against Israel on October 8, a day after Gaza-based Palestinian resistance movements launched their surprise attack, Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, against the regime.<\/p>\n

Nasrallah said the daily exchange of fire with Israeli forces along the Lebanese border might seem modest but is of prime significance, calling the confrontations unprecedented since 1948.<\/p>\n

He highlighted that 57 Hezbollah fighters have been martyred so far.<\/p>\n
