Missiles strike a US base in Syria during an earlier attack<\/p>\n
Simultaneous attacks have targeted three military bases housing US occupation forces in Syria.<\/strong><\/p>\n Citing sources, Lebanon\u2019s Al Mayadeen\u00a0TV channel reported that the US base in al-Omar oil field, east of Syria\u2019s Dayr al-Zawr\u00a0Province, came under shelling on Saturday night.<\/p>\n The raid, involving ground-to-ground weapons, caused explosions inside the facility, the report said, adding that the blasts were heard in surrounding areas.<\/p>\n Harab Cir bases in Syria\u2019s al-Hasakah Provinces also came under a similar attack.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, drones of an unknown origin targeted the al-Tanf base in Syria\u2019s Homs Province, near the Jordanian border.<\/p>\n There have been\u00a0no reports of casualties or damage so far.<\/p>\n On Friday, a loud explosion was heard at the base that houses US troops in the Conoco gas field in Dayr al-Zawr.<\/p>\n US bases in the region have been the target of several rocket or drone attacks in the past month amid soaring anti-American sentiment over Washington\u2019s all-out support for Israel\u2019s bloody bombing campaign on the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n Tel Aviv launched the war on the besieged Gaza on October 7, killing 7,703 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 19,743 others.<\/p>\n The occupying regime has also imposed a “complete siege” on Gaza, cutting off fuel, electricity,\u00a0food and water to the more than two million Palestinians living in the coastal enclave.<\/p>\n
