Michael McCaul (R-Texas) said Wednesday following a closed-door intelligence briefing, according to the Wall Street Journal.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, see \u2013 we\u2019re already at \u201cokay, sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201c<strong>I don\u2019t want to get too much into classified (details), but a warning was given. I think the question was at what level<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">McCaul seemingly confirmed the earlier claim by an anonymous intelligence official in Egypt, which often serves as a mediator between Israel and Hamas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cWe have warned them an explosion of the situation is coming, and very soon, and it would be big,\u201d the official said, <strong>accusing Israel of having \u201cunderestimated such warnings.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Israel later dismissed it as \u201cabsolutely false\u201d and \u201ctotally fake news\u201d<\/strong> \u2014 but only \u201cthat Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received a message in advance from Egypt,\u201d suggesting it could have been made without reaching the leader.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">McCaul said his committee would also look into how US intelligence also did not know about the deadly assault that \u201cwe know that this has been planned, perhaps as long as a year ago.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201c<strong>We\u2019re not quite sure how we missed it. We\u2019re not quite sure how Israel missed it<\/strong>,\u201d he said, according to the WSJ.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a big mystery we missed it. Well, we didn\u2019t really miss it, actually. But we missed it by not doing anything, and it\u2019s a big mystery why we would do that. Tucker has interviewed this guy, and been generally friendly with him.<\/p>\n<p>Tucker is in a complicated situation, it seems. The Ukraine war was very comfortable for him. He\u2019d carved out a place where it was safe to say \u201coh well, I don\u2019t support World War III and I think we should be guarding our own borders (and maybe having a war with the Chinese)!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There is going to be a lot more pressure to support Israel. And you\u2019re going to have to either support them or not.
