This is a MAJOR development and at the time of writing it is being completely ignored by the Western MSM.<\/p>\n

Russian President Putin has accused the British of having trained Ukrainian saboteurs who were planning to attack Russian nuclear facilities.<\/p>\n

Until now President Putin has shown a measure of restraint in Ukraine, despite how the Western MSM has tried to spin it. So we don\u2019t doubt Putin\u2019s claims because they are so serious. Indeed, one might even call them inflammatory.<\/p>\n

In essence, Putin is accusing Britain of preparing to launch an act of war against Russia. Moreover, many more hardline Russians would see the sabotaging of its nuclear plants as tantamount to a nuclear strike on the motherland.<\/p>\n

So when Putin says that Britain\u2019s leaders don\u2019t \u2018understand the responsibility\u2019 of training Ukrainian saboteurs for such a mission he\u2019s warning Britain that this could have very serious consequences.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not going to speculate on what those consequences may entail. But you can be certain that this will only inflame Kremlin hardliners who would love to obliterate Britain with underwater nukes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Like they say: ‘give them enough rope and they’ll hang themselves’. The trouble, of course, is that a lot of ordinary folk who want no part of this conflict will end up paying the price. Ed.<\/p>\n

London hardly understands responsibility for training Ukrainian saboteurs \u2014 Putin<\/strong><\/h2>\n

According to the Russian president, several Ukrainian saboteurs testified that they were trained under supervision of British instructors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

British authorities are unlikely to understand the responsibility for training Ukrainian saboteurs that planned an attack on Russian nuclear power plants.<\/p>\n

“Do they even understand what they are playing with? Do they provoke us to some response actions against Ukrainian nuclear facilities, power plants? Does the British leadership and the prime minister know what their intelligence agencies do in Ukraine? Or, maybe, they don\u2019t know at all? I accept that the British intelligence acts under leadership of the Americans as well,” the head of state said during the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) plenary session.<\/p>\n

According to the president, these provocateurs “don\u2019t know where to stop and may cause serious consequences.”<\/p>\n

Putin disclosed that the Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB) captured several Ukrainian saboteurs, who were tasked with damaging a Russian nuclear power plant.<\/p>\n

“During the questioning, they testified that they were trained under supervision of British instructors,” the president noted.<\/p>\n

The Russian leader speculated that his words may cause “another wailing that this is a threat, a nuclear blackmail.”<\/p>\n

“I assure you that what I told you right now is a total, absolute, honest truth,” Putin noted. “These fellows sight tight and testify. I know the potential reaction, that they will say anything at gunpoint. No, this is not the case. The leadership of British intelligence agencies knows that I am telling the truth. But I am not certain if the British leadership understands what it is. Such things are truly concerning.”<\/p>\n
