Come hang out while we get a chance to know each other and build our community as we kick off this schoolyear [sic],\u201d reads the\u00a0invite\u00a0to the event.<\/p>\n<p>Ironically it was hosted by the school \u2018equity &amp; inclusion committee\u2019.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A California elementary school reportedly held a race segregated \u201cplaydate social\u201d for all students except the white kids.<\/p>\n<p>A parent blasted the school on social media, \u201cwe\u2019ll look back and cringe so hard that we tried to beat racism by segregating kids of color from white kids\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/LhBMCtwSEq\">pic.twitter.com\/LhBMCtwSEq<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/libsoftiktok\/status\/1696174920701497431?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 28, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Taking to social media, the parent noted \u201cI dunno about others, but I\u2019m genuinely upset about what ultimately boils down to a \u201cNo whites allowed\u201d playdate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll look back and cringe so hard that we tried to beat racism by segregating kids of color from white kids,\u201d the parent added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow is this productive?
