Two of the world\u2019s most renowned climate scientists have spoken out to warn the public that the green agenda being peddled by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and its globalist allies is based on a \u201choax.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Slay News has extensively reported<\/a>, governments around the world<\/a> are scrambling<\/a> to meet the \u201cNet Zero<\/a>\u201d goals of the green agenda.<\/p>\n

This destructive agenda is being led by the WEF and other similarly-aligned unelected bureaucratic organizations such as the United Nations<\/a> (UN) and the World Health Organization<\/a> (WHO).<\/p>\n

The alleged goal of the green agenda is to fight the so-called \u201cglobal warming\/climate change\/global boiling crisis.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, meeting these goals means ramping up taxes, stripping the public of basic freedoms, and drastically lowering the quality of life for the general population.<\/p>\n

But as the corporate media continues to increasingly stoke fear in the public about the claimed \u201cthreat\u201d from the \u201cclimate crisis,\u201d actual experts are now starting to come forward to dispute the so-called \u201csettled science.\u201d<\/p>\n

Democrat President Joe Biden\u2019s WEF-aligned<\/a> administration\u2019s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has just introduced new rules to cut CO2 emissions in electricity generation, to supposedly fight \u201cclimate change.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two prominent climate scientists are pushing back, however, warning in recent testimony that new EPA\u00a0regulations \u201cwill be disastrous for the country, for no scientifically justifiable reason.\u201d<\/p>\n

William Happer, professor emeritus in physics at Princeton University, and Richard Lindzen, professor emeritus of atmospheric science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), have both gone on the record to warn that the claims made by Biden\u2019s EPA are based on a \u201choax\u201d and only serve to advance the globalist green agenda.<\/p>\n

Citing extensive data to support their case, Happer and Lindzen argue that the claims used by the EPA to justify the new regulations are not based on scientific facts but rather political opinions, globalist narratives, and speculative models that have consistently proven to be wrong.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe unscientific method of analysis, relying on consensus, peer review, government opinion, models that do not work, cherry-picking data and omitting voluminous contradictory data, is commonly employed in these studies and by the EPA in the Proposed Rule,\u201d Happer and Lindzen testified.<\/p>\n

\u201cNone of the studies provides scientific knowledge, and thus none provides any scientific support for the Proposed Rule.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of the models that predict catastrophic global warming fail the key test of the scientific method: they grossly overpredict the warming versus actual data,\u201d they stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe scientific method proves there is no risk that fossil fuels and carbon dioxide will cause catastrophic warming and extreme weather.\u201d<\/p>\n

Climate models like the ones that the EPA is using have been consistently wrong for decades in predicting actual outcomes, Happer warns.<\/p>\n

However, such fearmongering data serves well when it comes to pushing the public to comply with unpopular policies.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was already an embarrassment in the \u201890s when I was director of energy research in the U.S. Department of Energy,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was funding a lot of this work, and I knew very well then that the models were overpredicting the warming by a huge amount.\u201d<\/p>\n

He and his colleague argued that the EPA has grossly overstated the harm from CO2 emissions while ignoring the benefits of CO2 to life on Earth.<\/p>\n

Many who have fought against EPA climate regulations have done so by arguing what is called the \u201cmajor questions doctrine.\u201d<\/p>\n

The argument is that the EPA does not have the authority to invent regulations that have such an enormous impact on Americans without clear direction from Congress.<\/p>\n

Happer and Lindzen, however, have taken a different tack.<\/p>\n

They argue that the EPA regulations fail the \u201cState Farm\u201d test because they are \u201carbitrary and capricious.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTime and again, courts have applied \u2018State Farm\u2019s\u2019 principles to invalidate agency rules where the agency failed to consider an important aspect of the problem, or cherry-picked data to support a pre-ordained conclusion,\u201d they stated.<\/p>\n

The case they referred to is the 2003 case of State Farm v. Campell (pdf<\/a>), in which the Supreme Court argued that \u201ca State can have no legitimate interest in deliberately making the law so arbitrary that citizens will be unable to avoid punishment based solely upon bias or whim.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Happer and Lindzen\u2019s testimony, \u201c600 million years of CO2 and temperature data contradict the theory that high levels of CO2 will cause catastrophic global warming.\u201d<\/p>\n

They present CO2 and temperature data indicating much higher levels of both CO2 and temperatures than today, with little correlation between the two.<\/p>\n

They also argue that current CO2 levels are historically at a low point.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe often highly emphasized 140 [parts per million] increase in CO2 since the beginning of the Industrial Age is trivial compared to CO2 changes over the geological history of life on Earth,\u201d they stated.<\/p>\n

In addition,\u00a0the scientists\u2019 testimony to the EPA stated that the agency\u2019s emissions rules fail to consider the fact that CO2 and fossil fuels are essential to life on earth, particularly human life.<\/p>\n

\u201cIncreased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere create more food for people worldwide, including more food for people in drought-stricken areas,\u201d they stated<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIncreases in carbon dioxide over the past two centuries since the Industrial Revolution, from about 280 parts per million to about 420 ppm, caused an approximate 20 percent increase in the food available to people worldwide, as well as increased greening of the planet and a benign warming in temperature.\u201d<\/p>\n

More CO2 in the atmosphere leads to more plant growth and higher farming yields, they argued.<\/p>\n

In addition, synthetic fertilizers, which are derivatives of natural gas, are responsible for nearly half the world\u2019s food production today.<\/p>\n

\u201cNet zero<\/a>\u201d goals would reduce CO2 emissions by more than 40 gigatons per year, reducing the food supply proportionally, they said.<\/p>\n

In addition to disregarding the benefits of CO2, they stated that the EPA\u2019s emission rules and the \u201cglobal warming\u201d narrative that has been used to justify them are based on a hoax.<\/p>\n

In addition to teaching physics at Princeton, Happer\u2019s decades of work in physics has focused on atmospheric radiation and atmospheric turbulence, and his inventions have been used by astronomers and in national defense.<\/p>\n

\u201cRadiation in the atmosphere is my specialty and I know more about it than, I would guess, any climate scientists,\u201d Happer said.<\/p>\n

His expertise, he said, \u201cinvolves much of the same physics that\u2019s involved in climate, and none of it is very alarming.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cglobal warming\u201d narrative argues that as people burn fossil fuels, they emit higher concentrations of carbon dioxide into the Earth\u2019s atmosphere, which absorbs sunlight and creates a \u201cgreenhouse effect,\u201d trapping the Sun\u2019s radiation and warming the Earth.<\/p>\n

But Happer warns that one aspect of CO2 emissions that \u201cglobal warming\u201d models fail to take into account is a phenomenon called \u201csaturation,\u201d or the diminishing effect of CO2 in the atmosphere at higher concentrations.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the current concentrations of CO2, around 400 parts per million, it decreases the radiation to space by about 30 percent, compared to what you would have if you took it all away,\u201d Happer said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo that\u2019s enough to cause quite a bit of warming of the Earth, and thank God for that; it helps make the Earth habitable, along with the effects of water vapor and clouds.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut\u00a0if you could double the amount of CO2 from 400 to 800, and that will take a long time, the amount that you decrease radiation to space is only one percent,\u201d Happer said.<\/p>\n

\u201cVery few people realize how hard it is for additional carbon dioxide to make a difference to the radiation to space.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s what\u2019s called saturation, and it\u2019s been well-known for a century.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to scientific arguments about why global warming is overblown, the scientists also cite data showing large discrepancies between global warming models and actual observations.<\/p>\n

In some cases, Happer and Lindzen say, data has been disingenuously manipulated to fit the climate-change narrative.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe most striking example of that is the temperature record,\u201d Happer said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you look at the temperature records that were published 20 years ago, they showed very clearly that in the United States by far the warmest years we had were during the mid-1930s.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you look at the data today, that is no longer true,\u201d\u00a0he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople in charge of that data, or what the public sees, have gradually reduced the temperatures of the \u201830s, then increased the temperature of more recent measurements.\u201d<\/p>\n

Misleading data is often used by the EPA as proof of \u201cglobal warming,\u201d Happer and Lindzen note.<\/p>\n

According to the renowned climate scientists, the government uses data that appears to show \u201cdaily temperatures.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the EPA is actually showing a \u201cratio\u201d of daily record highs to lows.<\/p>\n

The use of this data in fearmongering charts is \u201cdesigned to create the impression that temperatures are steadily rising,\u201d they warn.<\/p>\n

By contrast, the scientists confirm that historical data indicates significantly higher temperatures in the 1930s versus today.<\/p>\n

Proponents of the global warming narrative often state that it is \u201csettled science\u201d and that nearly all scientists agree that global warming is real and the result of human activity.<\/p>\n

According to an official NASA statement, \u201cthe vast majority of actively publishing climate scientists\u201497 percent\u2014agree that humans are causing global warming and climate change.<\/p>\n

\u201cMost of the leading science organizations around the world have issued public statements expressing this, including international and U.S. science academies, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and a whole host of reputable scientific bodies around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

A report by Cornell University states that \u201cmore than 99.9% of peer-reviewed scientific papers agree that climate change is mainly caused by humans, according to a new survey of 88,125 climate-related studies.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Happer argues that consensus is not science.<\/p>\n

Happer cites a lecture on the scientific method by renowned physicist Richard Feynman, who said, \u201cIf it disagrees with experiment, it\u2019s wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cScience has never been made by consensus,\u201d Happer said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way you decide something is true in science is you compare it with experiment or observations.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter if there\u2019s a consensus; it doesn\u2019t matter if a Nobel Prize winner says it\u2019s true, if it disagrees with observations, it\u2019s wrong,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s the situation with climate models.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are clearly wrong because they don\u2019t agree with observations.\u201d<\/p>\n

The National Library of Medicine cites a speech by physician and author Michael Crichton at the California Institute of Technology in 2003 in which he said, \u201cConsensus is the business of politics.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cScience, on the contrary, requires only one investigator who happens to be right, which means that he or she has results that are verifiable by reference to the real world,\u201d Dr. Crichton said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn science, consensus is irrelevant.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat are relevant are reproducible results.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe initial predictions of climate disasters had New York flooded by now, no ice left at the North Pole, England would be like Siberia by now,\u201d Happer said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing that they predicted actually came true.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have to do something to keep the money coming in, so they changed \u2018global warming\u2019 to \u2018climate change.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The warnings from Happer and Lindzen come as several top scientists have started to speak out against the green agenda.<\/p>\n

As Slay News recently reported<\/a>, one of the world\u2019s most influential climate scientists has blown the whistle with an explosive admission by warning the public that claims of a \u201ccrisis\u201d related to so-called \u201cglobal warming\u201d are \u201cmanufactured.\u201d<\/p>\n

Judith A. Curry is an American climatologist and former chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology.<\/p>\n

For years, Curry has been one of the leading voices warning that the Earth is facing an \u201cemergency\u201d due to allegedly \u201cman-made climate change.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Dr. Curry, a renowned climatologist, has just admitted that the fearmongering \u201cscience\u201d has been fabricated in order to scare the public into believing we must fight a \u201cclimate emergency.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a manufactured consensus,\u201d Curry\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0the New York Post.<\/p>\n

As Slay News reported<\/a>\u00a0last month, Dr. John Clauser, the co-winner of the 2022 Nobel Physics prize and one the\u00a0world\u2019s leading authorities<\/a>\u00a0on quantum mechanics, has also spoken out to warn the public that the \u201cclimate crisis\u201d narrative being pushed by the global elite and their allies in the corporate media is a hoax.<\/p>\n

He\u00a0blasted \u201cclimate emergency\u201d claims as a \u201cdangerous corruption of science that threatens the world\u2019s economy and the well-being of billions of people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clauser, who was also awarded the 2010 Wolf Prize in Physics, the second most prestigious physics award after the Nobel, warns that\u00a0misguided<\/a>\u00a0climate science is a hoax that is being driven by \u201cmassive shock-journalistic pseudoscience.\u201d<\/p>\n

These views are also echoed by renowned environmentalist Dr. Patrick Moore, a co-founder of Greenpeace.<\/p>\n

Moore is also warning the public that the anti-carbon dioxide narrative<\/a> is a scam, as Slay News previously\u00a0reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Moore, an ecologist and environmental activist for more than 50 years, argues that an increased level of carbon dioxide<\/a> in the atmosphere is beneficial.<\/p>\n

According to Moore, claims that \u201cclimate change\u201d is \u201chuman-caused\u201d are \u201cpropaganda\u201d which he describes as \u201cdangerous.\u201d<\/p>\n
