According to Ritter, the Google-owned social media giant accused his channel of violating the terms of service.<\/p>\n<p>Writing on X (formerly known as Twitter), Ritter stated that his channel, \u2018The Scott Ritter Show\u2019, through which he attempted to \u201c<em>import Russian voices to an American\/Western audience,\u201d<\/em> had been flagged for \u2018hate speech\u2019 and taken down without prior warning or any specific examples of the offense.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThere was never any hate speech involved in any of the episodes of \u2018The Scott Ritter Show\u2019, unless one views unique content from silenced voices hateful,\u201d<\/em> Ritter said, calling the move <em>\u201cthe latest in a series of actions by YouTube to silence Russian voices.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c[This] represents the living manifestation of the disease of Russophobia which has swept America and US-based social media platforms,\u201d<\/em> he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate post, Ritter noted that in addition to his channel, YouTube had also deleted the \u2018Ask The Inspector\u2019 channel, claiming that the move is <em>\u201ca targeted effort by YouTube to remove\/minimize my voice, and those of my guests and the people who took the time to ask probing questions about the pressing issues of the day.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThose who are behind this should know \u2013 you won\u2019t succeed,\u201d<\/em> Ritter said, adding that there is a <em>\u201cvast social media world\u201d<\/em> beyond YouTube, while warning those that remain on the platform that they will at some point have to conform to it or have their channels deleted, too.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cBoth of them:<\/em>\u00a0<em>Ask the Inspector\u00a0and \u2018The Scott Ritter Show.
