{"id":271597,"date":"2023-07-29T05:25:43","date_gmt":"2023-07-29T05:25:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=271597"},"modified":"2023-07-30T11:11:03","modified_gmt":"2023-07-30T11:11:03","slug":"barbaric-pseudoscience-chloe-cole-calls-for-lawmakers-to-protect-children-from-transgender-procedures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=271597","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Barbaric Pseudoscience\u2019: Chloe Cole Calls For Lawmakers To Protect Children From Transgender Procedures"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Leif Le Mahieu \u2013 The Daily Wire July 27, 2023<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Chloe Cole, a 19-year-old woman who was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/detransitioner-chloe-cole-announces-official-lawsuit-against-kaiser-permanente-for-medical-negligence\">put through sex change procedures<\/a> as a young teenager, told lawmakers Thursday on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/capitol-hill\">Capitol Hill<\/a>\u00a0that she was the victim of the \u201cone of the biggest medical scandals\u201d in American history.<\/p>\n<p>Cole made the comments during a House Judiciary Committee <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ts0ESOMKUKU\">hearing<\/a> on \u201cThe Dangers and Due Process Violations of \u2018Gender-Affirming Care\u2019 For Children.\u201d Cole was one of the several witnesses, including a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/18-times-per-week-former-teammate-of-lia-thomas-recalls-humiliation-of-undressing\">former teammate<\/a> of transgender identifying swimmer Lia Thomas, who spoke about the dangers of gender ideology.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis needs to stop. You alone can stop it. At 15, she underwent a double mastectomy despite the fact that she did not have breast cancer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBefore I was able to legally drive, I had a huge part of my future womanhood taken from me,\u201d she said, explaining that her voice had been permanently altered and that her fertility was unknown due to the procedures that were done on her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheir [the doctors] theories were wrong. The drugs and surgeries changed my body, but they did not, and could not change the basic reality that I am and forever will be a female,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She said that she had only became suicidal after she underwent the transgender procedures, despite the doctors claiming it would help her mental health.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI didn\u2019t need to be lied to. I needed compassion. I needed to be loved. I needed to be given therapy to help work through my issues, not affirm my delusion that by transforming into a boy it would solve all my problems,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Cole, who was testifying on her 19th birthday, was thanked by Republicans for her words. \u201cYou\u2019re a beautiful, brave woman. Thank you for being here,\u201d Rep.
