The judge has issued an injunction against the federal government, ordering it to stop colluding with, and pressuring, social media to censor speech as if it were an Orwellian \u201cMinistry of Truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

The case is ongoing. There are many plaintiffs, including doctors and The Gateway Pundit.<\/p>\n

The main areas of censorship: COVID, rigged elections, and the Hunter Biden laptop story.<\/p>\n

The fact that the judge issued the injunction suggests his eventual ruling will favor the plaintiffs and slam the federal government.<\/p>\n

But the New York Times tweeted<\/a>: \u201cBreaking News: A judge limited Biden administration officials from contacting social media sites, a ruling that could curtail efforts to fight disinformation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meaning: Could curtail efforts to destroy the 1st Amendment.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not that the Times misunderstands the Amendment. They just don\u2019t like it.<\/p>\n

They want to control it.<\/p>\n

They want to BE a censor.<\/p>\n

As any Ministry of Truth would.<\/p>\n

The phrase \u201cfight disinformation\u201d is itself an effort to kill free speech. It\u2019s straight-out propaganda, designed to convince rubes, yokels, and partisans that government is SUPPOSED TO CENSOR. Because \u201cdisinformation\u201d is bad and stopping it is good.<\/p>\n

Newsflash: That isn\u2019t government\u2019s job, unless it\u2019s North Korea.<\/p>\n

The government\u2019s job is defending free speech.<\/p>\n

At some point in this case, the feds may try to invoke National Security as the justification for banning speech about COVID.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the final frontier for a tyranny. \u201cIf we don\u2019t censor, the country will collapse.\u201d<\/p>\n

If the judge doesn\u2019t fall for that bullshit, the feds will try it again when they appeal the case to a higher court.<\/p>\n

This may wind up at the doorstep of the Supreme Court. Next year, or the year after.<\/p>\n

If the Supremes stick a dagger in the heart of the federal government, I fully expect the feds to simply go deeper underground, in their collusion with social media.<\/p>\n

At that point, who would act to support the Supreme Court\u2019s ruling? The Dept. of Justice?<\/p>\n

That terminally corrupt agency is a piece of the Executive Branch. The Branch where agencies are heading up censorship.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, a favorable Supreme Court ruling would help clear the air.<\/p>\n

At the New York Times, the stench-ridden creatures called reporters would keep on supporting \u201cthe fight against disinformation.\u201d They would hire new little petty fascists to carry on their crusade.<\/p>\n
