{"id":271018,"date":"2023-07-13T05:55:42","date_gmt":"2023-07-13T05:55:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=271018"},"modified":"2023-07-14T07:15:18","modified_gmt":"2023-07-14T07:15:18","slug":"former-lgbt-activist-renounces-her-job-grooming-children-what-have-i-contributed-to","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=271018","title":{"rendered":"Former LGBT activist renounces her job \u2018grooming\u2019 children: \u2018What have I contributed to?\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Matt Lamb \u2013 Life Site News July 12, 2023<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>A former LGBT activist now is speaking out against \u201cgrooming\u201d and transgenderism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI started to realize that what I had been doing at my job at the LGBT Center,\u00a0it was grooming,\u201d Kay Yang <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/lgbt-activist-regrets-indoctrinating-children-gender-ideology-oh-my-god-what-have-i-done\">told<\/a> Fox News recently, in reference to her former job doing \u201coutreach\u201d to K-12 on gender ideology.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was hired to conduct LGBT community outreach and education,\u201d she told Fox News. \u201cI thought, \u2018Wow, I want to help people who are being marginalized, who are being oppressed, I don\u2019t think that anyone should be discriminated against.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had no idea that what I was doing at the time I was being used as a Trojan horse for this like huge marketing campaign [for gender ideology],\u201d she said in the interview. \u201cI didn\u2019t know what was going on that was normalizing these policies and these practices that are pushing irreversible medical damage on healthy children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat have I contributed to? I actually felt devastated. It was very difficult to process and deal with. I had to really face myself and what I had done,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Yang said that businesses and schools viewed her organization\u2019s work as coming from a place of expertise, but in reality she had no idea what she was really teaching.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would go into schools or businesses, organizations and the community, they would see us as experts,\u201d she said. \u201cBut really, I didn\u2019t know exactly what I was teaching. I was doing what I was told because it was my job.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A former LGBT activist speaks out. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ELNSmHbRNW\">pic.twitter.com\/ELNSmHbRNW<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Matt Lamb (@MattLamb22) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MattLamb22\/status\/1679129972403843072?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 12, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>She fears that kids are going to continue to be indoctrinated into the LGBT agenda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really concerned that our children are being told complete untruths about themselves and their bodies and the world around them, and that\u2019s setting them up for danger, and it\u2019s setting them up to internalize feelings of shame against their own body just for being a male or being a female,\u201d she told Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I really think that all people, but especially children, should be taught to love and respect their body and grow to accept the body that they were born in and whether that\u2019s a male or a female,\u201d Yang\u00a0 said. \u201cAnd I\u2019m very concerned that this ideology is grooming young girls to believe that they don\u2019t need sex-based rights anymore and grooming them to promote this ideology. Because that\u2019s what happened to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her comments on how kids are groomed to feel transgender or support homosexuality tracks with an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/new-report-reveals-lgbt-identifying-students-at-ivy-league-school-doubled-since-2010-to-nearly-40\/\">increased identification<\/a> as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/non-binary-identifying-students-soar-a-staggering-4000-in-new-jersey-schools\/\">LGBT<\/a> among young people.<\/p>\n<p>LifeSiteNews\u2019 Jonathon Van Maren has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/blogs\/the-lgbt-agenda-is-trying-to-destroy-children-statistics-show-it-is-working\/\">commented<\/a> on these trends and said that public schools are \u201cactively encouraging and facilitating children to push boundaries and question their sex.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is obvious to any reasonable person that a child of four or five years old identifying as \u2018non-binary\u2019 has very little to do with the child\u2019s identity, which he or she cannot even conceptualize at that age,\u201d Van Maren wrote. \u201cA non-binary preschooler or kindergartener is, as one wag put it, a bit like a vegan cat \u2014 we all know who is making the decisions here.
