Yet we hear little about whites in the other large English-speaking nation, Australia. Tucked away \u201cDown Under,\u201d with just 26 million inhabitants, the continent maintained a <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/articles\/banned-in-oz-posted-on-vdare-com-fraser-s-rethinking-the-white-australia-policy-with-comment-by-peter-brimelow\">\u201cWhite Australia\u201d immigration policy<\/a> until 1973 that kept the country overwhelmingly white. Even today, it is 90 percent white, and 81 percent ethnically British, about the same as the Mother Country whose convicts settled it. But as <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Anglophobia-Unrecognised-Hatred-Harry-Richardson\/dp\/0645716324\/\">Anglophobia: The Unrecognised Hatred<\/a><\/em> reveals in great detail, Anglo-Australia is under sustained racial and cultural attack. Leftists, particularly organized Jewish leftists, have mounted a propaganda campaign that says <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/posts\/frank-salter-in-quadrant-magazine-on-libertarianism-the-nation-state-and-problems-with-skilled-immigration\">Anglo-Australians <\/a>are racists who should be ashamed of their history.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Top Australian TV host Stan Grant steps down after enduring racist abuse <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/F3hJ5xPyzy\">https:\/\/t.co\/F3hJ5xPyzy<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; BBC News (World) (@BBCWorld) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BBCWorld\/status\/1659614917903695896?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 19, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">A recent example: Stan Grant, a top television host for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, quit the job because he suffered, he claimed, a torrent of \u201cracist abuse\u201d after his comments about Australia\u2019s history when he <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/articles\/union-jackal-on-immigration-charles-iii-s-coronation-and-islam-s-symbolic-occupation-of-britain\">covered the coronation of King Charles III<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">During the segment, he said the symbol of the Crown \u201crepresented the invasion, the theft of land\u2014and in our case\u2014the exterminating war,\u201d referring to a period of martial law in 1820s New South Wales that was used to justify the killings of Wiradjuri people.<\/p>\n<p>[<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-australia-65642975\">Stan Grant: Top Australian TV host steps down after enduring racist abuse<\/a>, <\/em>by Tiffanie Turnbull, BBC, May 19, 2023]<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_270077\" style=\"width: 232px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Stan_Grant.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-270077\" class=\"wp-image-270077 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Stan_Grant-222x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"222\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-270077\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Digital StillCamera<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Grant, right, is a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wiradjuri\">Wiradjuri<\/a> (I.E. an Australian Aborigine)and the Anglophobia he unleashed is what Australian political psychologist <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/articles\/frank-salter-on-state-versus-nation-down-under\">Frank Salter<\/a>, best <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/articles\/where-dawkins-fears-to-tread-ethnic-nepotism-and-the-reality-of-race\">known <\/a>for his book <em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/salter_on_genetic_interestst2007\">On Genetic Interests<\/a>,<\/em> and best-selling author <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barnesandnoble.com\/w\/the-story-of-mohammed-islam-unveiled-harry-richardson\/1118927876\">Harry Richardson,<\/a> dissect in their new book.<\/p>\n<p>It has a stark message. In the topsy-turvy world in which being weak and \u201cmarginalized\u201d is lauded, being English or British\u2014being white\u2014the group that created the modern industrial world and its prosperity, is nothing short of a crime. For the white man\u2019s success cannot reflect genetics, which is unthinkable, or hard work, which is even more unthinkable, but instead reflects an inherent evil, a great sin:<\/p>\n<p>The authors:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">To prevent a man from claiming merit as an explanation for his success is to imply that he has been lucky or has cheated. Similarly, it is implicitly Anglophobic to impose a blanket denial that Anglos have done well partly due to merit.<\/p>\n<p>All Anglo-Australians share in the sins of their ancestors, even though blacks, who <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/posts\/the-african-slave-trade-white-guilt-and-the-other-guilty-party\">descended ultimately<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/posts\/black-immigrants-descendants-of-slave-traders-not-slaves-culturally-appropriating-juneteenth\">black slavers<\/a>, do not share in the sins of their ancestors. Thus, hating, discriminating against, sexually assaulting, and even killing Anglo-Australians is acceptable simply because being an Anglo is such a deadly sin.<\/p>\n<p>Being born white, the authors explains, means being born \u201cprivileged\u201d and somehow having won the lottery of life. And yet:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">There are things, often small things, which are easy to ignore and assuming that you aren\u2019t silly enough to break the unspoken rules, life can go on for the most part without ever really having to think about them too much. There are words you mustn\u2019t say, people you mustn\u2019t criticise and policies you have to go along with, even if you don\u2019t really agree with them. Occasionally, these \u201cthings\u201d can have more tangible effects. These can range from needing a higher score for university entrance to being passed over for a job or a promotion.<\/p>\n<p>And as in England with its <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/posts\/bbc-rochdale-grooming-gang-member-complains-over-treatment-in-britain\">grooming gangs<\/a>, Muslim gangs <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sydney_gang_rapes\">have raped<\/a> Australian women precisely <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/articles\/diversity-vs-freedom-contd-australians-fight-on-the-beaches\">because they are Australian,<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/posts\/lebanese-crime-official-cowardice-in-australia\">Anglo authorities<\/a> turned a blind eye, <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/articles\/racial-gangrape-another-diversity-disaster#reports\">looking upon the victim<\/a> s with contempt. The authors aver that other ethnic groups are experts at victim-signalling and exploit white guilt to attain the <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/letters\/a-north-carolina-reader-writes-on-enoch-powell-and-the-whip-hand-at-starbucks\">whip hand<\/a> over Anglos, who can\u2019t compete when it comes to feigned weakness:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">White, and particularly Anglo, culture strongly discourages victimhood. Instead, it encourages self-determination and stoicism, encapsulated in the historic British concept of the \u201cstiff upper lip.\u201d Unfortunately, in the face of organised and well-funded minority victimhood strategies, Anglo stoicism has been a losing response.<\/p>\n<p>Defining key terms such as \u201crace\u201d and \u201cethnocentrism,\u201d the authors document the rising tide of Anglophobia in Australia, especially since the 1970s and, in particular, through \u201cVilification,\u201d \u201cHostile Discrimination\u201d and \u201cViolence.\u201d Beginning with \u201cVilification,\u201d we <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/posts\/radio-derb-is-on-the-air-fifty-years-of-ethnomasochism-etc\">have Susan Sontag<\/a>: \u201cThere must be something terribly wrong with western white civilization. \u2026 The white race is the cancer of human history.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alas, any American idea will make its way Down Under. In 2012, an Aboriginal leader called officials <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abc.net.au\/news\/2016-11-28\/pearson-abuse-claims-straining-relations-with-qld-government\/8057908\">\u201cf*cking racist white c*nts\u201d<\/a> to their faces because, in his culture, swearing is apparently a kind of \u201cexclamation mark.\u201d Of course, he got away with it. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Australian academics told Anglo-Australians they were racists, that they were responsible for the sins of their people and, of course, for the great sin of colonialism. Australian politicians flagellated Anglos while denying them the right to a sense of self. \u201cWith our heritage of White Australia and membership of the British Empire,\u201d the authors write, \u201cit\u2019s too risky for us even to glance in the direction of talk of an Anglosphere. It revives all those unfortunate recollections and associations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Australian schools that <a href=\"https:\/\/education.nsw.gov.au\/news\/latest-news\/waving-the-flag-for-reconciliation\">fly the Aboriginal flag<\/a> teach white kids to hate themselves and that they <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/posts\/aborigines-and-whites\">\u201cstole\u201d Australia from the aborigines.<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Pleased to present Australian and Aboriginal flags to St Aloysius Catholic College in Kingston. History is rewritten\u2014through inaccurate historical dramas and documentaries\u2014to imply that there was never a dominant Anglo people, yet the Anglos are punished for that very dominance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMore damaging is the falsification of British and white social history in recent movies,\u201d the authors write, most notably the appearance of blacks in places they simply never were, such as the courts of Queen Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots. A black actress was cast as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rottentomatoes.com\/tv\/anne_boleyn\">Anne Boleyn<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/articles\/the-english-speaking-peoples-have-fallen-for-a-negative-identity-but-a-leader-could-rally-them\">Hugh Jackman <\/a>or <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/posts\/snow-white-and-the-huntsman\">Chris Hemsworth<\/a> will be cast as Martin Luther King Jr. we are not given to know, but at any rate, the authors summarize the entertainment industry\u2019s anti-white attack on history this way:<\/p>\n<p>The falsification of Anglo history is a form of Anglophobia. Anglos and other European-descended peoples will not be able to claim and hold their identities without making historically correct movies. That will not be possible until the Anglophobic bias of film producers and distributors is abolished.<\/p>\n<p>The book also traces the institutionalization of Anglophobia. A key promoter of multiculturalism in Australia in 1960, argue the authors, was <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Walter_Max_Lippmann\">Walter Lippman<\/a>, of the Victorian Board of Deputies. Jewish organizations have been central to promoting Aboriginal rights. Jewish lawyers have worked pro bono to prosecute critics of Sudanese immigration:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">In June 2021 the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africanaustralianadvocacy.org.au\/\">African Australian Advocacy Centre<\/a>\u2014the AAAC\u2014held an inaugural friendship dinner. The AAAC is a peak body formed in 2019 to represent all African communities in Australia. The rationale for this cooperation was that the Jewish and African communities shared a common negative experience in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>The authors effectively argue, a la <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/articles\/immigration-and-the-unmentionable-question-of-ethnic-interests\">Kevin MacDonald<\/a>, that organized Jewish interests are highly relevant to the development of Anglophobia in Australia. This is an interesting possibility, but I would like to have seen a detailed attempt to statistically demonstrate which would absolve the authors from charging of cherry-picking their data.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, this is an insightful and well-written book which explore the dynamics of Anglophobia in Australia and beyond. In essence, they seem to find that Anglophobia is a weapon used by English elites to control their own population.<\/p>\n<p>I would see it in evolutionary terms. If you are power-hungry then you can outcompete others, if they have a strong sense of guilt, by making them feel guilty and humiliated. They must feel that they are collectively worthless, meaning their spirit will be broken. Your competitors are those who cannot be \u201cbroken\u201d by this process\u2014you fellow Woke Machiavellians\u2014and your serious enemies are those that would actually attack the process itself. The \u201cAnglos\u201d need to do precisely. Liberal \u201cAnglos\u201d are traitors who collaborate with guilt-inducing foreign groups to get personal power, <a href=\"https:\/\/vdare.com\/articles\/six-impossible-things-before-breakfast-why-the-left-can-believe-contradictory-things-about-the-great-replacement-and-the-war-on-christmas\">as studies show<\/a>, while psychologically breaking most of their own people.<\/p>\n<p>This book is a call for Anglos to use the very tactics these traitors employ in order to fight back.
