This resulted in further public outrage and a diplomatic row between Armenia and Israel. The Israeli Government\u00a0not only validated Cohen\u2019s remarks, but went on to suggest\u00a0that\u00a0<em><strong><u>\u2018this issue requires extensive research and an academic dialogue based on testimonials and proof\u2019<\/u><\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, the Israelis are saying that claims of a genocide, before being accepted, must be supported by\u00a0<em>\u2018extensive research and an academic dialogue based on testimonials and proof\u2019<\/em>.
