Kennedy Jr. has admitted that the US created Daesh, blaming Washington for\u00a0crimes perpetrated by the terrorist group and influx of millions of refugees to Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe police are corrupt. We created ISIS (Daesh). We drove two million refugees up into Europe and destabilized democracy for a generation in Europe. They called it Brexit,\u201d said the 69-year-old environmental lawyer, who is also a nephew of President John F. Kennedy and the son of his slain brother Robert F. Kennedy.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">&#39;We created ISIS&#39;<\/p>\n<p>Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who has formally launched his 2024 presidential bid admitted that the US created ISIS. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/lW5BfOK8AO\">pic.twitter.com\/lW5BfOK8AO<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; IRNA News Agency (@IrnaEnglish) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IrnaEnglish\/status\/1648993512329732096?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 20, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Kennedy is the first candidate from the ruling Democratic party to challenge fellow party member and 80-year-old US President Joe Biden, who has declared his intent to run again in 2024, although not officially yet.<\/p>\n<p>The newest presidential hopeful lashed out at previous administrations in Washington for wasting eight trillion dollars on the US-led military invasion of Iraq.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy mission over the next 18 months of this campaign and throughout my presidency,\u201d he said, \u201cwill be to end the corrupt merger of state and corporate power that is threatening now \u2013 threatening now \u2013 to impose a new kind of corporate feudalism in our country; to commoditize our children, our purple mountain\u2019s majesty; to poison our children and our people with chemicals and pharmaceutical drugs; to strip-mine our assets; to hollow out the middle class and keep us in a constant state of war.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Back in August 2016, then Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump also accused standing US president at the time\u00a0Barack Obama\u00a0of founding the Daesh terrorist group.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn many respects, you know, they honor President Obama,\u201d Trump said during a raucous campaign rally outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. \u201cHe is the founder of ISIS.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He repeated the allegation three more times for emphasis.<\/p>\n<p>Trump has repeatedly accused former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of founding the infamous terrorist group, and said &#8220;crooked Hillary Clinton&#8221; was actually the group&#8217;s co-founder.<\/p>\n<p>In 2011, Clinton confessed in an interview with Fox News that the US created al-Qaeda in Afghanistan which it later invaded with the purported aim of destroying the terrorist group.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We created the problem in Afghanistan and Pakistan to fight against the Soviet Union,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.presstv.ir\/Detail\/2023\/04\/21\/701959\/US-%E2%80%98created%E2%80%99-Daesh-terrorist-group,-2024-presidential-hopeful-confirms\">Source<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Robert F.
