Introduction — March 5, 2023<\/strong><\/h1>\n

What was probably clear to most regular visitors to this website is now becoming more apparent to the general public.<\/p>\n

The idea that in 2020-2022 we faced a life-threatening pandemic, promoted by most politicians and the media, was entirely unfounded. In short, Covid-19 was a con.<\/p>\n

While real, Coronavirus was simply a variant of the cold and flu virus that appears every few years. Like those viruses it could be deadly, particularly for the old and vulnerable. However, it was no more deadly than the H2N2 pandemic was took hold from 1957-58 and is estimated to have accounted for 1.1 million deaths worldwide. Or the 1919 Spanish Flu<\/a> which was estimated to have accounted for many millions of deaths globally.<\/p>\n

As a result of the measures used to contain the most recent ‘pandemic’ jobs were lost, businesses closed and some lives were ruined. So as it becomes more apparent that governments around the world worked hand-in-hand with the media to promote a false narrative they now have to cover their tracks and offer up a fall guy.<\/p>\n

In Britain, that fall guy conveniently takes the form of Matt Hancock. So now the media that once breathlessly warned us about the life-threatening dangers posed by Covid and its variants<\/a> are offering the former Health Minister as a token sacrifice. No doubt, hoping that it will distract us from contemplating the broader damage their lies over Covi-19 wrought. Ed.<\/p>\n

Rishi Sunak faces calls for an inquiry into whether Treasury officials buried or ignored evidence that his \u00a3849m \u201ceat out to help out<\/a>\u201d scheme fuelled the spread of the pandemic.<\/p>\n

Officials dismissed a Warwick University study<\/a> in October 2020 that said Sunak\u2019s initiative may have caused a significant rise in Covid-19 infections. The report estimated 8%-17% of detected new clusters could be linked to the scheme.<\/p>\n

Despite the government categorically rejecting the findings, the publication of former health secretary Matt Hancock\u2019s WhatsApp<\/a> messages appears to confirm that there were concerns about the then chancellor\u2019s scheme in summer 2020 driving an increase in infections.<\/p>\n

In the leaked messages obtained by the Daily Telegraph<\/em>, Hancock told the cabinet secretary, Simon Case, that he had \u201ckept it out of news\u201d that the initiative was spreading the virus. He said his department had informed the Treasury and was \u201cprotecting\u201d officials.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Portes, a professor in economics and public policy at King\u2019s College London and a former senior civil servant at the Treasury, said: \u201cIt looks on the face of it that [the Treasury] was deliberately trying to conceal what the evidence was about eat out to help out.<\/p>\n
